I've had a bridge placed over a missing tooth 2 weeks ago, Previously to the bridge I went to a peritonitis and had the area cleaned with no smell before or after treatment , then I had the bridge placed, it looks fantastic but now two weeks later I now I have a rotting smell! I clean the area every day with floss & a pik to get inside as it has a very small gap due to the receding of the gum line where I had no tooth for for over 8 months. Any ideas??

HI:There is certain amount of adjustment that is normal with a new bridge. It's difficult to know exactly how high is the bridge without a clinical exam.Best,Dr. Maddahi
