i'm regular with systane drops.though i got severe redness and itching in my both eyes.dr said it's due to dry eyes but prescribed inflammatory drops tobramycin for 5 days 4 times.i went to another dr she suggested that theirs eye inflammation & continue this drops.after using it 4 days in my right eye my cranucles are inflamed.whenever i install those drops it start stinging&burning sensation that i'm not able to close my eyes. what'll be the cause ? will it recover fast and does it reoccur?

Answer: Tobramycin is an antibiotic, it isn't an anti-inflammatory.
Rainbow glare is hopefully getting less common with refinements in Femto flap creation. It still can happen but usually gets better over time.But you should report the problem to the surgeon and have him/her take a look as interface inflammation can also mimic the the problem. Better to catch it...
If you ended up with a little over-correction (meaning you are now hyperopic after the surgery) or if one eye is very different now in terms of RX those could give you a mild headache.But there are many more causes not related to the surgery.
Your eyes may feel itchy due to dryness, which is very common at this stage of healing. Also, it may be due to allergies, which are very common this time of year. Alaway is an inexpensive over-the-counter anti-histamine drop for allergies. Seeing your doctor might be a good idea.
