The position of the bracket on the tooth is the most important aspect of how the tooth is going to move during orthodontic treatment. Placing the bracket back on your tooth without the oversight of your orthodontist will likely cause your teeth to move into a bad position.I have never tried it so I don't know for certain, but I don't believe gorilla glue or any other type of glue that you can get from the store would keep the bracket on the tooth. But more importantly, if if does by chance work then my concern would be getting the bracket off once treatment is done. The composite adhesive we use holds the bracket with just enough force that we can also remove it when the time comes, without damaging your teeth.
