Will 375cc implants drop and fluff into a larger size? I'm 9 days post op. (photos)

Hello,Massage does nothing, except possible harm, so don't.  As for your result, please wait for drop and fluff. You should know that you are at or near your maximum anatomic capacity with these implants, so going bigger initially was unlikely an option. Best of luck!

Hello and thank you for your posting! After breast augmentation surgery, "boob greed" is a very common feeling. Most patients feel the same way you do when so early on in the healing process because they are so eager to see their final results. It is important to be patient. Your feelings about your results will likely change once your implants do drop into final position and your swelling subsides. Another thing to consider is that many patients go through an emotional rollercoaster after having a cosmetic procedure. Consult your board-certified plastic surgeon regarding your concerns. His or her dedicated office staff can also be a helpful resource for you.

Dear sophiadiaz,I understand your concern and it is quite normal to be concerned about the outcome following a breast augmentation surgery. However, you are still in the very early stages of the healing process at 9 days  post op.Your will need to be patient at this moment and follow what your surgeon has instructed you to do post operatively.At the early stage of the healing process, the tissues around the implants are still swollen. but they won't get larger.  Rather than have boob greed as you admittedly appreciated, look at the benefits of your procedure and that you will be much fuller and have many more options in clothes and curves.  If you were contemplating going up one side only, the difference is so small that it would not be appreciable.  Follow your surgeon's instructions and focus on healing (your nose too) and it's hoped that after sometime passes, that you will be able to appreciate the vast improvements and not ruminate about the alternatives.

Thanks for the question and photos. Your early result at 9 days looks very good in the photos. It is early in the healing process and you need to be patient with settling. Massage is not really proven to help implants "drop" but is often prescribed in the hopes of softening the implant pocket. Time is the most important element. Projection is a matter of subjective assessment in most cases, as what looks like a full look to one observer may not appeal to another. We use surgical simulation software and sizers to try to take a lot of this guesswork; it is VERY helpful but not perfect, as the simulations are only an estimate of potential outcomes and different healing processes can often make implants look a little "smushed" in the beginning. Be patient and follow your surgeon's instructions and followup regularly.

Its too early to judge your final result.  Based on the technique your surgeon has used the healing process varies.  The before and after photos of your surgeons profile should give you an idea how your results will eventually turn outWould follow your surgeons instructions closely and have an open communication with hime.All my best,
