Breathing worse and sense of smell lost after 2nd septoplasty with clear cavities? 2nd was also valve reconstruction & rhino.

I had a septoplasty in February. The deviated septum was natural (not due to injury). I breathed better, but not well enough, and sense of smell enhanced. I had a second septoplasty, along with valve reconstruction, and a rhinoplasty (deprojection) in May. I'm breathing worse than before the first surgery, and sense of smell is lost. Both ENTs (one's a plastic surgeon) are baffled as to why, with clear nasal cavities. No allergies. Possible explanations, please?!
