Mommy Makeover

Best Decision Ever!!! :-))) Dr. Weinstein is a very compassionate practitioner

After a decade of fantasizing, I decided to reclaim my body and finally have my Mommy Makeover done on May 7! The reason I chose Dr. Weinstein is because he has been my mother and sisters’ entrusted PS for almost 2 decades. His Bragg Book Portfolio of Before and After pictures are snapshots of his beautiful work which helped me envision what my results could be. Dr.Weinstein’s experience as a PS for several decades, his credentials as Chief of PS at Morristown Memorial Hospital and having taught his techniques in Paris all show why his outcomes are 2nd to none. Some people were born to do what they do. Dr. Weinstein and his nurse Linda were both present during each office visit throughout this process. They have a shorthand between them that I have rarely found which is reassuring as it is obvious that they have worked together for many years. They were patient with me as I probably need a little more hand-holding and information than most people. I came in with my long lists of questions and each one was addressed with confidence and without over promising results. Dr. Weinstein and each of his staff, whether it’s Linda, Veronica or Maria, were very responsive, attentive and ready to come up with quick solutions if anything came up. I felt comfortable to text and call Dr. Weinstein, Nurse Linda and the rest of his staff with questions, never feeling like I was a bother. This was important to me and it gave me peace of mind. Dr. Weinstein is a very compassionate practitioner. Not only is he eagerly waiting to be able to return to India to continue his Pro Bono work once the Pandemic has subsided there, but I will never forget the fatherly way Dr.Weinstein caressed the top of my head to rouse me from surgery to let me know that the procedures went beautifully. My Mommy Makeover perked up my breasts through Gummy Bear implants, repositioned my belly-button, took 5 inches off my waist (so now I actually have a waist again), removed my baby pouch/apron overhang, and slenderized my inner/outer thighs. An added bonus is that the internet corset strengthened my core and I no longer have the lower back pain and hip pain that I’ve had the last 10 years! Regarding the pain and being uncomfortable, I was surprised that I was just sore but not at all in agony. It was enough for me to alleviate the soreness by taking Tylenol Extra Strength for the 1st 10 days. Since the surgery, I wear a compression garment and waist binder, I take Arnica 30X, I eat fresh pineapple for its healing properties, and have been sleeping reclined with my feet elevated on a wedge. My incisions are healing nicely and I have been putting Silagen Scar Gel on the area for the last 2 weeks. I find that if I’m too active during the day, I become swollen and so it helps to elevate my feet and sit reclined. I’m in week 5 post-op and while I’m still in the habit of feeling around for my baby pouch as soon as I wake up, I can now get excited to wear a bikini again because it is gone, gone, gone! :-)) Best Decision Ever!!!
