Utah Facial Plastics and UFP Aesthetics

I can't say enough good things about this place. I did my research and found a Dr. that provides top notch NATURAL results (he has a good reputation). During our initial in person consult, the Dr and I agreed on an undereye fat transfer, as fillers are now problematic for me. We ended up throwing in a brow lift which is something I really wanted done. Dr Thompson was kind, knowledgeable, no nonsense, and really skilled (which was why I went to him). It is surgery with inherent risks, so you never know what you're going to get. Coming from out of town, I was a normal amount of nervous but during the whole experience I felt like I was in safe and capable hands. The staff and nurse were really friendly and even the anaesthesiologist was awesome. I fell asleep and woke up to smiling faces and things healed nicely. My care coordinator, Jessica, answered all my questions and more even months in advance. I followed the instructions to a T and drank bone broth days before and after the surgery along with vitamin c and a ton of OJ. I have been doing virtual follow ups with the Dr. and things are going great. If you're also coming from out of town I would just recommend staying two nights post op as traveling in a car was a little rough for me on the pain meds. Otherwise, no issues.

Any review I can post does not seem adequate to express my gratitude to Dr. Thompson and his surgical team. I could not be more pleased with the outcome of my procedure (facelift); the results speaking loudly to his unsurpassed surgical technique. Dr. Thompson is kind, confident and compassionate, a triad of qualities that were apparent during our first meeting and what I’ve experienced with every follow up since. It was a big decision but an easy one after our first meeting. There is only one thing I would do differently if I had it to do over again…I would have given myself permission to do it sooner! I cannot sing praises high enough for Dr. Thompson and Utah Facial Plastics!

Great experience from start to finish. Sarah listened to my skin concerns and we discussed the best treatment plan for me. She was upfront with how results may vary and I may need multiple treatments to accomplish these goals. She made me feel confident in her decision making on my behalf, and walked me through her thought process. She guided me on where to start with at home care and didn't overwhelm me with too much to start with. Highly recommend!

Sarah is a talented nurse injector/esthetician. She is really friendly and does an awesome job. I have been getting Botox from her for the last 1.5 years. She is really talented and has a great eye for Botox.

I'm so happy with my results. Dr. Thompson is an amazing surgeon. He and his staff made me feel comfortable through the whole process. I feel like I look 20 years younger! The pic is my before selfie on the left and me, 3 1/2 months post surgery. So happy with my results!

When I was in high school I underwent rhinoplasty after I had broken my nose twice playing sports. I was hoping to improve my breathing and restore my nose to it's original form. Unfortunately, the results of the surgery didn't meet expectations. My breathing didn't improve and I was very unhappy with the way I looked. Over the years my breathing got worse and I decided to consider rhinoplasty/septoplasty again. I met with multiple surgeons and decided to go with Dr. Thompson due to his great reviews and the confidence I had in his approach after meeting with him. I'm now a few weeks post operation and I couldn't be happier with the results! My breathing has improved significantly and I love the way my nose looks. I was very impressed with Dr. Thompson's attention to my concerns - both with my breathing and aesthetics. Overall I'm extremely happy with Dr. Thompson and UFP. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

It will take you some time to get an initial consult with Dr. Thompson. Do NOT be discouraged! IT IS WORTH THE WAIT! I was turning 51 in the Fall of 2021 and really wanted to address my chin, my neck and those jowls. I saw Dr. Thompson again, about 1 month before my surgery to ask my last few questions and brought my husband with me. My husband was really against me having a facelift and was extremely concerned that I would not look like myself. Dr. Thompson put my husband at ease. He answered all his questions and addressed all of his concerns and fears. The day of surgery, the nurses were so kind and caring. After surgery, my recovery nurse was also fabulous. I wish I could remember their names. Post surgery at home was better than I thought it would be, but the swelling under my chin was definitely uncomfortable. To be expected though. Don't judge anything for a few months as the swelling goes down at different rates in different areas of your face. However, I did attend a bachelorette party in Las Vegas, exactly 1 month out from surgery. I have to say, I looked pretty good, but nothing like my face looks like now, 5 months post op. I could not be more thrilled with the results. Everyone that had not seen me in a while, including my dermatologist, has raved about how much younger I look without looking plastic or pulled in any way. My husband is thrilled with my results as well. Dr. Thompson and staff, I can't thank you enough for changing my life!!!!

A+++++ all the way! From the first phone call thru multiple surgical followups, the experience was excellent. It was similar to the healthcare we received at Johns Hopkins which is the gold standard. With Dr. Thompson, I couldn't have been in better hands. I had a facelift, a neck lift (congenital double chin genes) and replacement of a chin implant done in the 1980's. He's a gifted surgeon; someone I could trust with my overall appearance when it really counts. For my procedures, he's done thousands of them and with great results according to reviews on several platforms. UFP's staff is organized, transparent regarding costs, efficient and friendly. There was no upselling of procedures or false promises of looking like an older super model. Just take a look at all the solid, practical information on their website (which is what attracted me in the first place). As a side note, Dr. Thompson, on his own time, travels to select third world countries to perform complex and much-needed surgeries on those less fortunate (you won't see that on the website). For a double-board certified plastic surgeon of his caliber, you can see where he true rewards. Integrity matters as well as paying it forward.

Kayla put fillers in my cheeks, chin, jaw line and around my mouth, and she did a wonderful job! She spent the time to get everything right. I did not feel rushed at all. She has a great eye for detail and loves what she does. She even dissolved filler that was added to my lips from a dermatologist because it did not look natural. I highly recommend Kayla!!!

Dr Thompson repaired a septal perforation from a previous septoplasty I had had and did rhinoplasty as well. I am thrilled with the results from both procedures, and will highly recommend him to anyone who asks!!
