Thrilled with the results of my facelift 1 month ago

I chose Dr. Zubowicz after consulting with 3 other highly recommended board-certified plastic surgeons for my facelift. I appreciated the time he devoted to my appointment and his expertise. He showed me patient examples of what could be accomplished and what I could expect. Dr. Zubowicz has a wonderful, caring personality that makes you feel valued and in excellent hands. The entire office...

Thrilled with my results at the 6 months mark

Dr Zubowicz is a fabulous surgeon and very respected in the Atlanta area for many years. I recently had an abdominal surgical procedure with Dr. Z to fix scar tissue and other issues from a cancer surgery. I was not an easy case! He and his team have been so helpful and patient with me. Dr Z is very kind, caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. His team to include Sarah and Tara have been...

My God sent me the best surgeons - he always kept check on me for years

November 2001 I was in a horrible car accident. I had a TBI, my face was shattered, both of my lungs collapsed, and I have very many broken bones. I had to be life carted to ATL Medical. I was in a coma for a few months, but I am extremely happy with the work of Dr. Zubowicz. In 2003 I was seen by him again to have my second nose surgery (for just appearance purposes). He always kept check on...

I Have Used Dr. Z for 35 Plus Years of Nips and Tucks ! All Outstanding Outcomes,

I first used Dr. Zubowicz for a Rhinoplasty in July 1985. I continue to get compliments on my nose! In 1986 I had the saddlebags removed from my otherwise skinny thighs! 2005 after back sugurgy and two children I had more liposuction of my thighs, abs, neck, along with a lower eye lift and face fat transfer. Now 10/2021, after more back surgery, weight gain and loss. I went back for more lipo...

Q: Fat transfer to breast. How much fat can be removed from donor site?
Answered by Dr. ZubowiczOctober 26, 2020

A: In my experience most women who want breast augmentation don't really have enough fat available to permit this by liposuction and fat transfer. When an area suction, anticipating transfer or not, the suction is performed until no further fat is coming out. That is the endpoint. In the occasional patient that I take care of using fat for augmentation exclusively all of it is used.

Q: Getting chin lipo soon and nervous! What are my options?
Answered by Dr. ZubowiczOctober 26, 2020

A: Liposuction of the chin and neck is easily performed with local anesthesia aided by tumescent preparation of the fat. Patients can go immediately back to work. The worst problem I have had is that the occasional patient doesn't get as much improvement as they desire.

Q: How long after I have an endometrial ablation should I wait to get a tummy tuck?
Answered by Dr. ZubowiczOctober 20, 2020

A: Since the abdominoplasty is a completely elective procedure I would ask that you wait until your completely healed from the uterine surgery. Clearly, subsequent elective aesthetic surgery would have to be done with the consent of your gynecologic surgeon.

Q: How long for muscle, outer skin, and fascia to all adhere again after tummy tuck?
Answered by Dr. ZubowiczSeptember 17, 2020

A: The actual healing after any operation takes many months. In my own practice I permit patients to begin light activities such as walking immediately after the operation. They are asked to avoid exercise the targets the abdominal muscles for about six weeks. I then allow the patients to gradually increase activity over the next six weeks to whatever level they wish. There is still healing in front of the patient at three months but they could not do anything at that point to jeopardize the results of the procedure.

Q: What procedures are recommended for forward growth in my side profile? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. ZubowiczSeptember 16, 2020

A: It's difficult for me from the x-rays to determine the best choice for enhancement of the chin. Sliding genioplasty is a possibility as is a chin implant. More recently we are using fat grafting that can be performed under local anesthesia to augment the volume of the chin.
