Halo Laser

Gorgeous399300

My skin colour appears to have evened out a little but I notice very little change to the acne scars.

Started by sending an email to them specifying that I wanted to explore treatment options for what I consider to moderate to severe acne scarring. I met with an esthetician, at no point was a doctor present during the initial consultation) the esthetician suggested that I try a BPL treatment immediately followed by a Halo treatment. She told me that I could expect a 60% improvement and she assured me that this process would address the severity of my scarring. Having never heard of Halo, I left the office and researched these procedures a little. Based on what I found Halo doesn't do a great job of treating more severe acne scars but I decided to trust the opinion of the esthetician. After several attempts to book an appointment, I met with the esthetician and she performed both procedures. Again no sign of a doctor. I again asked if the procedure would adequately address the depth of my scarring and I was told that "this will be your new best friend" Of the two procedures, BPL was slightly more painful but it was completely bearable. My skin wept for a few hours after the treatment. It looked like my face was sweating. Day 1 was mainly a burning sensation, day 2 I woke up very swollen, more of the same on day three. By day 4 the only noticeable difference was some mends and some redness. It has now been 7 days since I had the procedures performed. My skin colour appears to have evened out a little but I notice very little change to the acne scars. I would say that I am not satisfied by the results and for the money, I believe there has to be better options.
