Dr. Jeffrey S Yager, MD is not your typical Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. While he graduated with honors from undergraduate and was an officer of the Premedical Honor Society and was elected to AOA Medical Honor Society as well, he has also recorded and released an album of alternative rock music, become an expert in Art Nouveau, and helped to design homes in the US as well as in Europe. Dr Yager established Yager Esthetics in 1997 out of a need in the Latin community of New York for an ethical, well trained Plastic Surgeon who spoke Spanish and understood the aesthetic ideals and differences in that demographic. More than 25 years later, it is the most renowned practice in the Hispanic Community. This past year, Dr Yager has taken his most important step in contributing his talents to the formation of SY Aesthetics, which pairs traditional Cosmetic Plastic Surgery with Aesthetic Integrative Medicine, Advanced Nutrient Therapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Energy Healing. This evolution of Plastic Surgery to place equal importance on Inner Beauty, Health and Happiness has lead to the construction of a brand new Center in Middletown, NY as well as planned global expansion. In addition to winning awards from the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons and the PSEF ( Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation), Dr Yager is a Founding Member of The AIMS Society ( Aesthetic Integrative Medicine and Surgery Society), where he currently serves as President as well as Chairman of the AIMS Symposium 2023. Alternative and Integrative approaches were seen as an option for those who did not want traditional Plastic Surgery. Possessing an impressive career built upon experience and expertise, Dr. Burko contributes a wealth of knowledge and innovation to the forefront of SY Aesthetics’ emerging movement. His medical training and background contains many noteworthy accomplishments, including graduating with High Honors from Ross University School of Medicine, and serving as Chief Resident during his General Surgery residency at a Level 1 trauma center. He then further honed his skills by completing training in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. There he trained with renowned pioneers in aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. Beyond the walls of the OR, he finds his passions in spending time with his family, sports, fitness, culinary arts, and hiking.
