Started walking after day 3 of surgery. Sleeping amazing and not using narcotics. Motrin only every 6 hrs. Results are getting better by the day! Updated on 27 May 2022: Healing extremely well. Walking almost 3 miles per day. Drain due to come out in the next few days. 8 days post op and feel amazing! Only using Motrin for discomfort Updated on 31 May 2022: Swelling is going down tremendously and overall feeling great. Had a few days of doing a little too much, the drain reminded me I’m still recovering and to rest more which I did and it’s made a huge difference can’t wait to look back and reflect on this time! Updated on 7 Jun 2022: Feeling well overall. Can’t wait to be cleared for exercise. Been walking since 3 days after surgery still swollen but overall happy with how things are progressing Updated on 14 Jun 2022: As time goes on I am really starting to notice what people say Will happen. The swelling takes time.I woke up this morning feeling almost100% back to me! My biggest struggle with recovery wasn’t the pain that was so minimal it was incredible! Mentally and emotionally saying goodbye to a chapter of my life that has exhausted me both mentally and physically! Now onto the next chapter of my life Updated on 2 Jul 2022: Today I am over the 6 week hump and really feeling more like me! This has changed my life in such a positive way! I know as time goes on that it will continue to be better but today I feel like me! I’ve been wearing spanks at work for support and will probably wear them another 2 week or so, they help with swelling and support to do my job. I also wear them when I workout. I’m going to start working abs again slowly but overall my results are what I wanted and more ;-) Updated on 8 Aug 2022: Back to almost 100% of me, minor complication at about 9 weeks I had a dissolvable suture come to the surface. They have since removed it and things seem to be better! Couldn’t be happier with my results and the care I received. Looking forward to the future!
