Please do your research and seek out someone who has done many. Everyone's skin heals/ reacts differently and treatment can cause post inflammatory hyperpigmentation/ post inflammatory erythema. Make sure your technician uses an FDA cleared pen. Even with that, the procedure can be done too intense. It's possible to have heat too
