I have had ultatherapy, fraxel and cool sculpting done at Southlake dermatology and I have been happy every time I have had a treatment. They run specials every month on different things. I was able to get my face cleaning treatment by almost half.
I did 2 treatments a week for 3 weeks. I never felt any muscles contract, just the light zap taps. After all treatments & spending $2400 I finally scheduled & got the bladder sling surgery which instantly resolved my incontinence issue. Wish I would have just gotten the surgery instead of wasting so much money on alternative treatments like this.
I am a healthy woman less than one year menopausal, always at or below healthy weight until my 40s. I have been a size 10 for a few years, and I am not happy with the belly bulge that has packed on in the past few years. I don't exercise, but I don't eat a lot either. I am active, not a couch potato. I took the plunge when my highly acclaimed dermatology office in Southlake, TX offered a promotion on CoolSculpt. I had read many reviews from this site and I seemed to be an ideal candidate for 2 treatments to my lower abs. The first treatment was Nov 2016. Month after month, I looked for changes to my belly...nothing. Some reviewers mentioned they didn't see changes until treatment 2, so I completed that treatment to same area in June 2017. It is now Oct 2017 and I just completed my post treatment follow up. We compared my before and after pictures and zero visible change. Sadly, my clothes fit the same as well. The aesthetician agreed that there had been no improvement. So, I'm out $1400 for absolutely nothing. Be careful before you spend the money as it does not work for everyone. I have no idea if it might have been a poor application (i.e. If they were supposed to vigorously massage the treated area for 5 minutes, it was 1 min at best. Would this make a difference?). Post treatment, I didn't diet but didn't eat tremendous numbers of calories either... continued my normal lifestyle and eating habits. I feel stuck with this belly pudge, and $1400 poorer...
