Awesome Experience and Results
Excellent results and great experience—highly recommended ! I was very nervous but the staff and Dr. Centeno made this into an incredible experience that I don’t regret-amazing results. Preop and postop care was also excellent, they answered all my questions effectively and efficiently, even had to get in touch with one of the doctors over the weekend and they were available.

A: This is a very common misconception. After any type of lipo, you can still gain wait if you do not watch your diet and exercise. The best long term results from lipo are achieved by patients who keep their weight stable. Remember, liposuction is not a weight loss procedure it is a body contouring procedure.
A: The safety of laser lipo in several areas depends on several factors. The first is the amount removed. If you have less than 5 liters of liposuciton performed, it is safe to do as an outpatient procedure. This would be a large amount to do under local anesthesia. The other factor is the total dose of local anesthetic administered. In office procedures are usually smaller in the range of 2 liters. Between 2-5 liters are better done as outpatient surgery procedures in a surgery center or hospital. Over 5 liters requires hospitalizaiton.
A: Embolization of fat or clot is very uncommon after laser liposuction. Usually these cases are very conservative and you are up and walking immediately. This reduces the risk considerably. Unless you have a specific risk factor for embolization, the procedure is very safe. Best wishes.

With a small roll of residual fat left after laser lipo, the options include revisionary lipo with or without laser, Zeltiq is a fat freezing treatment that is effective. Ultrashape uses ultrasound to melt fat. In terms of the skin looseness, there are radiofrequency devices such as Titan, light based devices such as SkinTyte. While these are not surgical proecdures there is cost associated with the treatments. In most cases there is significant but modest improvement. Best wishes!
