Dr. Jack G. Bertolino is a board-certified physician and the founder of Smooth Solutions Medical Aesthetics in Williamsville, New York. Passionate about cosmetic medicine, Dr. Bertolino specializes in body contouring, injectables, sexual wellness, and natural hormone replacement. Dr. Bertolino founded Smooth Solutions Medical Aesthetics to help men and women minimize the effects of aging using the latest, most advanced technologies and aesthetic procedures. He is known for his precise technique and artistic eye for facial and body contouring, with both surgical and nonsurgical methods. After completing his master’s degree in biochemistry at St. John’s University in New York City, Dr. Bertolino earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He then completed a residency in general surgery at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a family medicine residency at the University of Maryland Prince George’s Medical Center in Cheverly, Maryland. Following his residencies, he was selected for a fellowship in geriatrics at SUNY Buffalo and a fellowship in functional medicine by the American Academy of Antiaging and Regenerative Medicine. Dr. Bertolino is board certified by the American Board of Anti-Aging / Regenerative Medicine and is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

I had the best experience at smooth solutions clinic. Dr. Bertolino was very professional, demonstrated very good bedside manners. A: Remember there are two kinds of fat visceral and subcutaneous. Vaser removes subcutaneous fat, diet, lifestyle changes help with visceral fat. So you can gain weight after Vaser Lipo. When you transfer subcutaneous fat like foe a BBL, remember it has a blood supply, that is how the fat survives and with weight gain you could see those fat cells possibly enlarge. Vaser is a great procedure foe shaping and contouring. Look to see a provider near you that has experience with Vaser and you will not be disappointed. JB
A: It has been my experience that Dysport has an onset of action about 4 days out and lasts about 4 months. Maybe your provider didn't give you enough units to make a difference. Remember, Dysport usually uses twice as many units on average as Botox. Go have a follow up visit with your provider and see what he or she thinks. Hope this is helpful. JB
A: From your photos you don't seem to need a tummy tuck at all. I love Vaser on patient's like yourself. You seem to have great skin tone and underlying definition. Vaser is safe, effective and gives great outcomes for the right patients. Why have surgery that would only leave scarring. See a competent provider that does Vaser and I think you will be satisfied. A: Using the Vaser ultrasound system and maybe employing a power assisted device with it can give a beautiful more athletic look, so being smaller with less fat is a bonus. In person evaluations are the best to look at skin turgor, and fat distribution. See a provider that has experience and get a good evaluation. Hope this helps. JB
A: I have been doing Vaser for 12 years and find that the pain experienced is minimal and tolerable for 98% of my patients. It also depends on how many areas are done at once and how aggressive your provider has to be on any one area. See someone with a track record using Vaser and get a good evaluation. Hope this helps.
