Vivace Was the Worst Thing I Could Do for my Skin

I’m afraid I have to comment negatively on this procedure. I’ve had a series of three treatments, about a month apart and after the first treatment I broke out in cyst-like lesions around my jawline. The same happened after the second treatment but at that time I was not making a connection between the treatment and the breakouts. After the third treatment, it was obvious that there was a distinct connection and the breakouts had started to appear on my cheeks as well as my jawline. I visited my provider with my problem and was sold a cleanser that was meant to help. It didn’t. It’s been over a year now since the beginning of treatment and I’m breaking out more than ever. These are not pimples. They are lesions of some type and take up to a month to heal. I’ve also had a huge increase in sebum production with lumps forming daily that require extraction. I’m making another follow up appointment today to show them the extent of the problem. My skin is now very oily and requires twice a day washing. Unfortunately, I have not experienced any tightening of the skin which was the reason for wanting the treatment initially. Maybe my results are a fluke but I think It just wasn’t what I hoped it would be.
