Where do I begin? I have so many wonderful things I can say about Dr. Derby. I have been a loyal patient of his for 11+ years and every single appointment is filled with compassion and knowledge. Dr. Derby’s commitment to excellence is magnified by his ability to inform, ask and relate to you and your wants, needs and expectations. He has always been honest and truthful and that brings an abundance of trust in him. 12 years ago I had a breast augmentation by another surgeon. Unfortunately, not only were they too big for my frame, I also had a complication with one of my breasts. Dr. Derby has given me options through the years on how we would proceed to correct the problem and answered all of my questions as it worsened. I sincerely believe things happen for a reason and something told us to wait. Sadly, my father passed away last year. The grief would be overwhelming for anyone. It consumed me. I don’t know what it was but scheduling the procedure for my mastopexy, chin implant and chin/neck liposuction felt right. This was something I needed to do for “me”. Dr. Derby saved my life and gave me back “myself”. He outdid himself and I am beyond impressed with his talents. I have the utmost respect for him and I can’t thank him enough. I am sincerely happy and can finally heal. I had been looking to get a breast reduction for 18 years and the time had finally come where I was ready to proceed with finding the right plastic surgeon to perform the procedure. With time comes emotional baggage so finding the right doctor who would truly care about what I wanted out of the surgery was paramount to me. From my first consult with Dr. Derby, it was evident that he was the perfect person to entrust with this transformational surgery. He leads with compassion and sensitivity and truly listened to me, which I find is hard to come by in medical professionals these days. He excels at putting his patients at ease and works with you to achieve your medical goals, and is your biggest cheerleader while helping you to obtain them. He's one of a kind in that he is someone you can entrust with serious procedures that will change your physical appearance, but you can trust they will enhance your overall confidence in the outcome. 20 million out of 10.

Anxiously awaiting my procedure date on May 1st. I had a consult with Dr. Derby who was very patient, kind, and knowledgeable. I felt that I made the right choice choosing this surgeon. I decided on going with a mastopexy, anchor lift and small implants, the sizers I chose were 200cc. I believe my surgeon will use high profile since I am a very small person. I am currently 4'11 and 95-97 pounds. I have never had a surgery before so I am really afraid of going under anesthesia, and the risk of blood clots. I did get testing for clotting disorders for peace of mind. My surgeon has been reassuring so far. I'm 29 and have one child, and earlier in life lost about 70-75 pounds. I also breastfed. I went from a DDD/F cup to about an A- to small B cup. My breasts are essentially skin sacks. I am hoping that ALL of the skin can be removed, since I want a super perky, high and tight chest. I am looking to be a full B cup with cleavage and a rounded look. I do NOT want the "ball in a sock" look. I don't want side boob, and I want to pass the "pencil test" after healing. I will try to continue to document my journey.

I am thrilled with the results from my recent eyelid surgery, and laser skin resurfacing, with Dr Derby. The eyelid procedure was something I’ve wanted to do for a few years, however I was hesitant as I have dry eye disease. After my initial consultation with Dr Derby, I knew I was in good hands! We discussed all of my questions, and I never felt rushed at all. He explained the surgery, and his plan to tailor it specifically for me due to my dry eyes. His knowledge, experience, and calming demeanor made me feel so safe and comfortable. Dr Derby and his entire team are so caring, and really made me feel like family. It was honestly a great experience from start to finish, and I’m beyond happy with the results.

Dr. Derby and his staff are amazing! The level of care they show is outstanding. After major weight loss I was in need of a Tummy Tuck, I was highly recommended to Dr. Derby by my doctor. At my consultation I felt so welcomed and comfortable. He is so down to earth! Dr. Derby took time to go over my goals for my body. He said I was a candidate for a “Fleur de Lis Tummy Tuck”.
