she’s honest and straight forward, no bs with her. she’s a perfectionist when it comes to her craft. she’ll never admit it but she has a warm heart too! This review was created as part of a nomination to the RealSelf I Love My Injector Campaign.

Would give 0 stars if I could! I had microneedling with PRP with Lana in August. I had some dermal pigment above my upper lip that really bothered me and she convinced me a “deep” session at 2.5mm would do the trick. I told her I was concerned as my skin is sensitive and she said not to worry, very safe and she has performed this many times. When I went to get it done she handed me the numbing cream for me to do myself. I was stunned. She didn’t even remove my makeup or anything. Once I was numbed she wiped off the cream and went to town. It definitely felt haphazard but it didn’t hurt ( I numbed for like 40 min). Then she swiped on some opened hyularonic acid that STUNG SO BADLY and sent me on my way. I used the post procedure kit as directed for 5 days following (even though she said 3). Once the sunburn like feeling healed I noticed I had a ton of track marks and enlarged pores. I tried not to freak out but as the weeks wore on the pores and the following got so much worse: wrinkles, lines connecting pores, fat loss, lost elasticity - literally wearing a hat for 5 minutes or sheet marks will cause marks that last all day, burning, tightness, redness, broken blood vessels, waxy skin, dark circles, fine lines, breakouts. I had PERFECT skin before this aside from the slight pigment (no change in that BTW). I look like a freak. I went to see Dr Russo at the start of this mess and he was relatively dismissive, said it would improve and one of his aestheticians said she would call me in a month to check in. No one has called, of course. And it hasn’t gotten better it has gotten SO MUCH WORSE. I had to move out of the city because I’m too embarassed to be seen. The worst part is they aren’t giving me my records, they are SO SHADY. And Lana, who administered the aggressive treatment and drew my blood told me she is an RN and does this all the time. Their website even lists her as an RN. My lawyer confirmed that she is not registered as an RN. Just STAY AWAY. They have truly ruined my life and couldn’t care less.
Anything that causes injury and subsequent inflammation in the skin can cause scar tissue to form. This definitely makes the surgery more difficult, but surgeons are used to working under these circumstances, and it should not affect your result
In general, once a woman loses fat from her face, it is difficult to gain it back despite weight gain. It is not uncommon to have filler placed to regain that youthful look
I would recommend an implant (250-350 probably) plus a lift. I think this will give you the look you are seeking
It is safe to have Botox even with a thyroid condition. There is no interaction with the thyroid gland as the botox is injected into the muscle which is superficial to the thyroid
Yes, this can happen. You may have gotten a little to much botox in your forehead which can result in a drooping of the brow. I would tell your doc and try using a lower dose in the forehead
