Finally something that works for cellulite!!!

I'm a 44 yr old female and had Cellfina done at radiance Medspa almost a year ago and cannot begin to say how thrilled I am. The staff were knowledgeable and professional and explained everything thoroughly. The procedure itself was virtually painless and recovery was a breeze...and best news of all my cellulite is GONE!!!!! Finally something that actually delivers for cellulite treatment. I would absolutely recommend this procedure and Radiance Medspa...just cannot say enough good things about my experience!!!!

Highly Recommended

Outstanding and professional service by Kathleen and the entire staff! I highly recommend them for their honesty, integrity and quality of service. After a separate medical condition made me unable to continue services for which I had prepaid, I was compassionately given a complete refund of my advanced payment. I will certainly rexonmend their services in the future.

Highly recommended

Location/office is very clean and comfortable. Exactly what I would expect! Staff are very knowledgeable and it was clear from my first phone call that I would be listened to and treated according to my needs and that's exactly what happened during my first appt. I feel more confident after the treatment and I can't wait to go back. I've been to many places and I would highly recommend them!!

27 Y/o Mixed Female with Acne Scarring

I have tried everything. Chemical Peels, ipl facials, scrubs, microderm, etc. Everything to get rid of my scars. Goal is to have natural looking skin so i dont have to rely on makeup. Today i had my treatment. The mask was seperated to 2 parts. I had the first half of container put on my face bc the doctor says its enough for a treatment and ill use the second of the container next treatment. Its doesnt hurt. Just tinkles. Ill clean my face at 7 pm. The mask stays on 8-10 hours according to the time given. Ill keep you updated every week. Next wed is my next update. Updated on 4 Jan 2017: Nothing drastic really right now being only 7 days since my treatment. My face feels very tight and has started flaking around my jaw line, mouth and nose. I was advised to not wax during this time but i thought it would be okay and i ended up waxing my skin off on the top of my left eye... I mean really down some layers. Baddd. So if your doctor says to not wax, please dont! Okay... Back to the review. Well im now going to put the peel on only at night on the days i work. My directions were 1 to 2 times a day. On the overly sensitive areas i dont apply due to extreme buring sensation. I will keep you guys posted as i go on with this treatment

36, 2 Cesareans BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT!!

I have two kids 5 and 8 and with the two c sections my abs (upper and lower) have made me cry. I've gained and lost weight and I'm currently at 130 (very happy with the number.) I've always had this weird fat pad on my stomach even before my kids that just won't go away. Now I also have a fold of skin over the c/s scar. I'd be happy with any change at this point. 2 weeks to go!! Updated on 2 May 2016: I called to see if there were an cancellations and she got me in a week earlier! Now I'm starting to get nervous. Procedure is on Thursday. I just went through my closet and noticed all the tops I stopped wearing because of my stupid stomach. 3 more days!!! Updated on 5 May 2016: It's been 10 hrs and this is what I'm dealing with. Yoga pants and sweatshirts here I come. Updated on 7 May 2016: The night of the procedure I already began bloating. My waist (across my belly button) measured 36" 3/4". I asked my tech at my consultation if drinking water would help the process she said yes and suggested that I add lemons (they aid in digestion and help to eliminate waste more quickly from the body.) So I've been drinking water with lemons like mad. I just measured myself again and I'm down to 34". I'm still a little tender and numb but no pain. There was no pain during the procedure either so I have my fingers crossed. Updated on 10 May 2016: The tingling pain has begun. It's not bad though. I just keep drinking water and I took some Tylenol today. I'm still wearing leggings and loose tops as I can't seem to suck my gut in. I just want results!! Updated on 12 May 2016: Am I skinny yet? Um no. But this has got me eating healthier, especially drinking more water. I'm hoping something works. Updated on 14 May 2016: I started feeling the deep burning and itching way behind my belly button. I just happened to be going to my gp yesterday. When I asked him about it he told me the itching is just another response to pain. Apparently, I'm in pain. He said I don't need anything and to massage the area. Yeah, I'll get right on that. Hopefully since it started so late it will end quickly. Updated on 22 May 2016: I know I know. It's just too early for me. Tell me I'm being silly. Tell me it's going to work. Idk, whAt do you think? Updated on 27 May 2016: I don't give a good god damn if no one else sees it. I see a change. Yesterday was 3 days! I swear it looks and feels different. Updated on 31 May 2016: My stomach really gets flatter every day. The wrinkles aren't great though so I'm going for a consult on ultherapy Wednesday. I'll be sure to update. Updated on 1 Jun 2016: Don't love the wrinkles but I'll deal with it. The consult for ultherapy turned out to be a no go. She said I wouldn't see enough of a result. I love their honesty. Updated on 1 Jun 2016: The tan lines are fun. Lol Updated on 5 Jun 2016: Months ago a secretary at my son's school congratulated me for "finally showing!" And commented that my belly was so cute. I was thoroughly embarrassed and determined to do something. Even with some weight loss I still had a pregnant belly and had to wear girdles and spanx to keep it down. When I did coolsculpting I could never imagine that my weight loss (30 lbs since comment, 5 more since coolsculpting) could have made such an amazing difference. Updated on 6 Jun 2016: I'd love to go again. I'd like to do my stomach again and my flanks. It might help pull the skin. I keep telling myself not to worry about the wrinkles but I'm not going to lie. It bothers me but I have no plans for a tummy tuck anytime soon. I love that this was scar free. My belly is still a little numb. I'm just shy of 5 weeks and my results have been perfect for me. I hope it continues to work. I have lost 5 or 6 lbs since getting it done. Updated on 6 Jun 2016: This was fun to put together. Updated on 8 Jun 2016: I wore a fitted shirt today!!! All my fitted, cotton, show all the bumps have been hanging in my closet since forever. The last time I tried to pull it off I got complimented on the fact that I was "finally showing" and that my belly was so cute. This from another female. So today when I was feeling brave I donned an off white tight shirt. I'm no Victoria's Secret model but damn! I sure felt good in it. Updated on 10 Jun 2016: I've read that Thermage doesn't really work and when I had my consult for Ultherapy I was told it wouldn't work very well because the results would be so minor. Now I'm on to Skin Tyte. Lol. It's tough to find providers (at least near me) but I did and I'll be calling Monday. Updated on 12 Jun 2016: I'm researching everything possible on laser skin tightening. I have it nailed down to Thermitight or SkinTyte. I'm definitely waiting until 6 months though and really see where the Coolsculpting can go. My stomach is so much flatter and that little roll of skin that hangs over my c/s scar seems to be tightening up on its own. Updated on 21 Jul 2016: Since coolsculpting I've lost 10lbs. The procedure was a huge motivator for me. Unfortunately, my loose only got worse. I've been to 3 different consultations, each using different technology, and still not a candidate. Since a tummy tuck will probably never happen, I'll just deal. Updated on 21 Jul 2016: You can see the wrinkles a little more in this one. Updated on 29 Jul 2016: 12 weeks post procedure and still the best money I've ever spent. My coworker just told me today that she booked her appointment for Coolsculpting and she named me as her referral! Even better, her gf is getting it done too. That's $200 for me just for showing off the work of Natalie at Radiance Medspa in Avon, CT. I'm considering using it for ultherapy. At least try to get rid of the wrinkles above my belly button. When I went for a consult there to treat the wrinkles they discouraged me from paying for a full session but the RN told me she would do above my belly button for $300. Decisions decisions. Updated on 20 Sep 2016: I went for my final check to today. Natalie was beyond thrilled with my results. I swear I was 9 months pregnant in those first pics. Even though we never did any work on my back even that was smoother. As we were looking at my screen shots another tech asked how many treatments. I proudly said, "just one." So if you've read this mini blog you'll know that as much as I love the work it hurts my heart and self esteem that I have these ugly, crinkly, wrinkles of lose skin. Even worse is the gross flap that sits over my c/s scar. I'll admit it. I HATE it. But Natalie made me feel a million time better assuring me that there is no more work to be done and extensive surgery like a tummy tuck would be so major for such a minor problem. I'm going to try and remember that and be grateful for the beautiful body that Radiance Med Spa, at the hands of Natalie, have given me. Updated on 20 Sep 2016: Updated on 6 Nov 2016: It's been six months and my weight is back up a little. I hover between 120 and 125. I will still say this is the best money I've ever spent. I feel confident in tight clothes and I'm proud that I've kept the weight down. But even putting weight back on isn't going to my gut. I'd love to have my flanks done and do my stomach again. But truth is if I ever get that kind of money again I'll get a tummy tuck (I have loose skin.) I'm not afraid of the recovery. I had two c sections and HAD to get up and move. Updated on 10 Nov 2016: I've read so many reviews where people are sold 2 or more sessions at once. Wait and see what your results are before shelling out five grand. Shop around. The first place I went to was Ideal Image. They told me I needed 4 applications and 2 sessions. When I went to the Med Spa they told me I only needed 2 applications and encouraged me to wait before I do any more than that. All I'm saying don't burn yourself. Take your time. Talk to the staff. Talk to other places. Do your research. And then, good luck. Updated on 27 Apr 2017: My weight has gone up and down between 5 and 10 lbs. I will still say that it's the best money I've spent. Even with weight gain and it showing in my belly it's never looked like my initial pictures. All I have to do is tighten my muscles and my stomach goes flat. And when pushing it out it's practically nothing.

102 lbs Asian, No Children , Coolsculpting lower abs & inner thighs- Avon, CT

A little about my background: I'm a petite Asian female at 5'1" and 102 lbs. I workout daily alternating between an hour of Insanity and T 25 workout. What I'm bad at is my diet. I eat way more calories than what I burn and that's probably why I can't seem to get rid of this annoying belly pooch. It's not really noticeable when I'm standing upright, but when I'm bending over, it becomes obvious. I've tried to cut down on my caloric intake and went down to 97 lbs once but the pooch was still there! Another area of my body that I'm not happy about are my thighs. I've always wanted a thigh gap but could never achieve one. I'm a little on the muscular side so my thighs are thick. I've tried Pilates to slim them down but it made little difference. Therefore, I've come to the conclusion that unless I drop down to an unhealthy weight by starvation or some other drastic measure, this thigh gap is not happening. Initially, I was planning to get liposuction but after seeing some bad outcomes, I've decided against it. I had my coolsculpting done on my lower abs and my inner thighs 2 months and 3 weeks ago. I figured I might as well wait for the results to write my review. A little about the procedure. When the applicators were put on me, it felt a little weird because it's basically a quick yet strong suction on your abs and thighs, I wouldn't even describe it as uncomfortable because it was not, it was just a different sensation. After a few minutes, the area Is numb. I've read some reviews from real self regarding the pain during and/or after the procedure so I was laying there waiting for it to kick in but there was absolutely no pain. I was so comfortable that I was falling asleep. My abs were done first, then my inner thighs follows. I was there for three hours but it didn't feel like it at all. After the applicators were removed, the treated areas were massaged. The treated areas were red but that dissipates after about 20 minutes or so. The only area I had bruising on was my inner right thigh, it was very small though about half the size of a corn kernel. After the procedure, I did my usual hour of insanity without any difficulties. I didn't experience any pain at all after the procedure, the treated areas were still somewhat numb for a few weeks but the sensation is only noticeable when I touch those areas. As for the results, I did notice a difference after 2 months, it's subtle but noticeable. I got the average 20% fat reduction. My pooch is still there but it's less noticeable and I actually have a thigh gap now! It may be just a sliver of a gap but it's something I didn't have before. Overall, I'm glad I did it and I went in with realistic expectations so I'm happy with the results.

Smart Lipo of Abs and Flanks - Avon, CT

I recently had a procedure carried out by Dr. Martin Savage from Avon Med spa. Dr. Savage is a lovely chap who was funny and kept me feeling calm throughout my procedure. The procedure itself was uncomfortable and painful at times but both the doctor and the nurse ( truly funny) were a great team - highly recommended. I am currently at 3 days post procedure and I am very sore however the medication has been a great help. I do not think I could have returned to work three days later as I am feeling discomfort and I am very tired. I can already see a difference ;). My only disappointment was that I was due to have smart lipo on my inner thighs, something I have ALWAYS wanted done but was told it would be too much all on the same day, I could have cried. I composed myself due to my disappointment but the doctor said he would carry this out in the next month or so without any increase in price as we had agreed that it would all be done for the price during my consultation. Dr. Savage is such a lovely chap, funny and informative and I am counting the days to have my inner thighs contoured. Hate my thighs!!! One of the greatest things about Dr. Savage is that he really makes himself available after the procedure giving me numbers where he was able to be reached. Tomorrow I have my first follow up and cannot wait for my check up as I love the place (clean, non overwhelming, peaceful and such friendly warm staff). If in doubt about who to pursue, i would suggest Dr. Martin Savage. Updated on 3 Mar 2015: Today is my first follow up (four days after my procedure) with Dr. Savage from Radiance Med spa of Avon CT. As always, the doctor as well as the sparkling receptionist is lovely, warm and friendly. My progress is looking great already, cinched waist that is evident in clothes...yaaay! Now about the thighs, we had something of a groggy conversation ( on account of the medication I have been taken and I have to trust his decision which Is that I am not so much of a heffalump at asize 4 (my word not his which is British speak for fat thighs) so after the soreness has dissipated I will run/work out again and I will hopefully be less vain... :) Thank you all for your postings which are an enormous help, my pictures will follow. Blessings. I promise to upload some pics

Turning 40, Smile Lines Making Me Sad. Avon, CT

My lines have gotten very deep and I'm not even 40 yet! I went to Kristina (blond) at Radiance Medspa in Avon, ct. It didn't hurt! Kristina was sweet. I appreciated her minimalist approach. We used 1 vile of restylane. Other consults suggested more. I think this looks more natural and I can always add more later. I didn't bruise, but I was noticeably swollen for 2 days. I think there could be better technique to avoid bruising, but this was my first time so I'm not sure. No one has noticed anything different about me (since swelling gone). Not sure if that's good or bad. I got a lot of compliments after botox.

It Really Works! - Avon, CT

I've never been one to believe that there was an affordable, painless (almost) way to lose excess fat. I believed it came as a result of a lot of hard work but after turning 40 and waking up one morning (it felt like it happened overnight!) with many extra inches around my waist, I decided to give CoolSculpting a try. It works! I had my first treatment on 1/31 and at my 3 month follow up I had lost over 9 cm (that's how they measure it) . . . that's 4 inches! My technician told me that if I wanted the WOW effect, that I should do another treatment on the area so on 4/30 I had my second treatment. For those of you considering CoolSculpting I would highly recommend it! I'm not going to lie, it is a little painful when the machine literally sucks your fat into a small cup but the pain goes away within a few minutes. My skin is fair so I did have minimal bruising and swelling during the first 7 days. I saw some results within the first 30 days but the most significant changes happened between days 60 and 90.
