I have gone to Jackie Carr for facial aesthetics for almost 15 years and I was delighted to learn she has moved from Dr. John Holds practice to a much more spacious and upscale office upstairs in the same building. Her brand new, state-of-the-art treatment room inside Ophthalmology Consultants is both elegant and welcoming. Much more relaxing and comfortable for the patient with considerably more privacy. From the start, I trusted Jackie Carr because she is a registered nurse, board certified adult nurse practitioner and licensed esthetician. She is highly skilled and experienced in injecting Botox and a wide array of dermal fillers and has a very gentle touch. She never rushes, always applies lots of topical anesthetic cream and offers safe, effective local injectable blocks to numb highly sensitive areas like the lips. More than her practical skills is her excellent eye for symmetry and her conservative approach to facial aesthetics. She has NEVER tried to sell a product or service and often has counseled against one or another for a reason specific to my facial structure or skin type. Jackie is highly professional, discreet, soft-spoken and thoughtful. She allows for plenty of time to discuss treatment options, devotes full attention to you and never attends to anyone else at the same time. She has a great sense of humor and is highly conversant as well as a generous listener. I love how she HEARS what you are saying before proceeding. She has always advised the optimal course of treatment, never over-injected me so that I always look natural and appropriate for my age. Our aim has been for me to look rested and at ease without any obviously plastic appearance. I started coming to Jackie in my late forties and now in my early sixties, I am still often complimented for my more youthful appearance which is important in my line of work. As a nurse practitioner, you can be assured that Jackie will take your overall health seriously and will quickly address any questions or concerns about a treatment. Her rates are always competitive,even though she could charge much more because of her extensive medical training and experience, which is uncommon in an esthetician--most are simply licensed by the state. In conclusion, you will not find anyone better than Jackie Carr to trust your looks to!
