I have spent 30 years with no body confidence. After breast feeding and then the menopause, I lost all my breasts and felt depressed. This surgery has changed my confidence completely. Wish I had done it years ago!!

Mr Adrian Richards + Aggie and the entire team at the Private Clinic (Harley Street) are the most amazing people I have ever met. I had one tuberous breast that was huge (about a C cup) and one small almost normal breast (about an a cup). I had gone to one other surgeon and they made me feel uncomfortable and like the procedure was rushed i.e. just trying to fix the larger breast and put an implant in the other smaller one all in one go. Mr Richards recommended we do this in two steps which made so much sense. To get both breasts aligned in one surgery first and get them as perfect as possible, then put implants in at a later stage (the reason being is I may want to take the implants out at a later stage in life). I stopped researching after seeing the team here and booked in my two surgeries and it was the best decision I ever made. I'm two weeks out of my second surgery and 1000x more confident even while still in recovery. Breast asymmetry is so hard to rectify, you still have to go in with an open mind because you can't expect them to be 100% perfect if you have such large differences like I did but the team at the Private Clinic have got them pretty close I must say! I'll be excited to put my photos up in a years time when I'm all healed and my scars have faded. I would recommend Mr Richards highly for any cosmetic procedure he offers. He is so professional and knowledgable with an incredible team of women, who too are just as amazing as he is. I had consultations with 3 different clinics, all professional and very welcoming however The Private Clinic for me was by far my favourite. From my first consultation through to my check up following surgery they have been so professional and friendly. My surgery was performed by Mr Richards, he explained what would be involved with the operation and answered any questions I had. He was police, kind and very professional. He explained the pros and cons to each technique (under or over the muscle) and why he would be doing it, for me it was over the muscle. He went through all the risks that are associated with breast augmentation so I fully understood. I had my sizing appointments with Mr Richards specialist nurse Aggie who was so welcoming and kind. She would consider my wishes at the same time giving me her opinion and recomendations when deciding on the size implants I was going to have - I am so glad I listened to her and went with what we both thought would look the best, and they look amazing now I’m almost 9 weeks post op. We chose two sizes - 270 & 300cc and agreed she would choose on the day which looked better on my by using the sizer (an inflatable implant they insert to determine the size during the op) and I trusted her judgement to choose for me - she chose well! On the day of surgery I was excited, but as soon as I walked into theatre I suddenly felt so nervous and anxious but Aggie, the theatre nurse and the anaesthetist were so reassuring and calmed me down. The last thing I remember was talking about holidays to them and then I woke up with my new boobs! The nurses on the day looking after me pre and post op were also amazing, so friendly and professional and gave so much reassurance. I’m a nurse myself and have always hated the thought of ever being a patient but they were just such an amazing team, it was a pleasure to have them look after me. Recovery was a lot less painful than I expected, I took paracetamol 4 times a day for a few days and then just as and when I needed it. Pain was minimal, I felt more discomfort than pain but that went completely after 3 weeks (at the most). The aftercare was amazing, I had a text from Aggie the day after my op checking I was okay and I knew I could text her at any time if I had any questions. If I had any worries I would text and she’d reply so quickly and was so helpful. I’ve just had my follow up appointment with Mr Richards and Aggie last week and they were both very pleased with how I am healing. Again they were both so friendly and professional and answered any questions I had. I 100% reccomend Mr Richards with The Private Clinic, he’s an amazing surgeon and I am over the moon with my results! I’m 9 weeks post op now and they look so natural. I was a 32B pre op and with 300cc moderate profile over the muscle I am now 32DD. I’m so glad I went with Mr Richards, him and everyone at The Private Clinic have made my journey such a pleasant experience.

I had my first ever breast op last June Unfortunately the 420 moderate profile implants did absolutely nothing for me and I didn’t feel like I had much of a change with regards to new improved boobies ! Even though I am only size 10/12 and 5,3 My rib cage and me are actually quite wide and I think they just looked lost on me. There was no umph just quite flat looking. I had revision surgery 3 days ago and I changed to 620 cc Extra High Profile (Normally this would look huge as on others) but not on me , so I’m hoping it will do the trick this time as I didn’t have any cleavage before as I was quite flat. I’m not having revision again , I will be happy what I have been blessed with now as it’s quite traumatic 2 boob jobs in a year! And I don’t want anymore any time soon.. So far they look really good :) But I can tell the way they are this time is so very different , the shape of the implant itself is such a difference , they are amazing ! I knew i had made my choice there and then.  From the very first phone call, to appointments with Dr Richards and Aggie, and aftercare, everything was all second to none. Every one of the staff was caring and helpful, they will bend over backwards literally to help you.  I cannot stress enough how important it is to feel cared for and in safe hands. They know all the ins and outs of all your worries and just put you to ease with their calmness and expertise. So highly experienced and talented I wouldn’t of wanted to go anywhere else. -Miraculously super clean hospital - I am very particular and this really impressed me.  -Aftercare , I had phone calls , texts to ask if I was ok and always someone on the other end of the phone when ever you are worried or have any concerns - which is such a peace of mind as I was always asking something !! ( as new to it all basically , of course there will be sensations you feel or questions that may worry you in the beginning after surgery ) and it’s lovely to have that aftercare.  To me it was one of the most important parts. At the age of 42 and having breastfed three children my breasts had lost all of their fullness and firmness, and I couldn’t help but feel that my best years were definitely behind me in terms of my body. My self confidence had been affected by many things since having children and this was one that bothered me every time I undressed to take a shower and saw myself in the mirror. I decided to look into breast augmentation procedures and did a lot of research. When I read everyone’s stories and realised that an augmentation is not just for young women wanting big breasts to conform to some messed up societal norm, I thought about how I would feel if I had fuller breasts again. It was then that I rang the private clinic for a consultation just so that I could start asking some questions. I chose the Private Clinic because of their reviews and because of their before and after photos which looked more natural than others I’d seen. I went for a consultation in Birmingham with Steve who was so lovely and made me feel at ease with considering having surgery. There were also other women my age at the clinic which also put me at ease. Steve answered all my questions and never tried to ‘sell’ the procedure to me. After a lot (A LOT) of procrastination and deciding not to do it, then deciding to go ahead, I took advice from a friend not to overthink it and just got for it if that’s what I wanted. So I booked up and paid. I chose to go with Dr Fazel because his profile looked amazing and his before and after photos resembled the results I wished to achieve (natural looking) so I made an appointment to meet him. He was pleasant, down to earth, knowledgable and sounded well experienced. He got what it was I wanted to acheive and I felt sure he knew how to achieve it. Surgery was uneventful and recovery was so much easier than I had expected after doing all my research. The most important points are that I had no side-effects from the GA so no sickness or nausea. I also had no pain when I woke up. I felt tight and a bit strange but no pain. Some people had said that they felt like they had a weight on their chest or something stuck on their chest. I did not feel anything like that. Just a little tender maybe. I took the painkiller as prescribed when I got home and the next morning then after that I took no painkillers because I wasn’t in any pain! I had no constipation, mainly because I didn’t take the painkillers, but also because I ate clean before and after surgery. And I had minimal swelling. I was scared to look at my breasts post-surgery because I was expecting them to look horrid and really high up, but they looked perfectly fine. They were just tight and solid but they were already a gorgeous shape. I did as I was told during the following weeks but recovered more quickly than expected. I was able to do things comfortably before I expected to have been able to. Don’t get me wrong, the process takes time and patience, but given that I’d had major surgery, I felt good and felt like I did really well, making the decision to have a breast augmentation well worth it. I am now 6 week post-op and my breasts are just what I hoped they would be. A fuller and firmer version of what they were, about 2 cup sizes bigger than before at most. I have been happy with my choice of surgeon and am happy with my results and the process to get here. Updated on 9 Jan 2019: These are two before pics. You can see there is no fullness above the nipple line. This is a B-cup bra and it was gaping much of the time. I am now filling out a D-cup bra and happy with my shape and size. I feel good naked and when I’m dressed I don’t feel like I have big boobs, just normal proportions.

After battling crippling self-confidence for years I decided to pursue breast lift surgery. From the very first interaction with The Private Clinic, I knew I was doing the right thing. The staff were amazing, supportive and informative throughout the whole process. Mr Richards made me feel totally at ease and the surgery went better than I could have ever dreamed. Aggy was an absolute star with all post-surgery care, literally only a text away to squash any worries I had. I feel like my life has changed & I honestly can't thank all of The Private Clinic team enough!

I had a left inverted nipple correction done by Mr Richards at The Private Clinic, Harley Street in February this year. My nipple on this side had always been slightly retracted but had worsened with age (I was 49 at the time of the op). I wasn’t happy with how it looked and it also felt uncomfortable at times as I could feel it pulling in which wasn’t pleasant. I saw a couple of surgeons in the North of England closer to home who I liked but who didn’t have anywhere near as much experience of performing the op as Mr Richards. I was very nervous about having it done and very nearly didn’t, but nurses Aggie and Sinead were so reassuring and encouraging I went ahead. & I’m very glad I did because I’m delighted with the result. The operation itself was completely painless (the local anaesthetic stings a bit but is over very fast and is nothing compared to other pain I’ve experienced, ie migraine) and within 45 minutes of arriving for it I was back out and sitting in a cafe nearby having a coffee! & I hadn’t been rushed, they were just well prepared. The procedure itself took around 10 mins I guess. I felt a bit shaky once the anaesthetic wore off but that was probably an emotional reaction and didn’t last long. I developed some impressive bruising a few days later and had some discomfort for a while when lying on that side, but the odd paracetamol was enough to deal with it. I travelled up and down to London by train on the day of the op by myself which was fine for me, although the clinic does prefer you to have someone meet you after if possible. This was in the middle of a 2 week holiday which meant I could go without a bra until I returned to work and rest. It takes around 6 weeks for the scar tissue on the top of the nipple to come away and I used a dry dressing inside my bra for a short while after also. You need a really good waterproof dressing for bathing etc. Mr Richards was comparable in price to others and really knows what he’s doing (the extra info on his podcast which you’re given pre-op is well worth listening to). The whole experience with the clinic and his team from start to finish was good and definitely worth travelling for. I’m a nurse myself who’s only ever worked in the NHS so coming to private care for the first time felt a bit daunting. But I made the right choice and the outcome of the surgery is excellent. It looks and feels very similar to my right side (it’s slightly more sensitive but I expected that and it’s not a problem at all). I can safely say it’s the best £1000 I’ve ever spent. I’m so much happier with how my body looks and feels now and very grateful you are all here, for your skills and the care I was given throughout.

I had 270cc silicone breast implants inserted over the muscle mid April this year. I’d been thinking about it for a while, having had 3 children and breastfed each for a long time I had lost all volume in my breasts and they were flat as pancakes! I didn’t really want breast implants but really I felt I couldn’t live the rest of my life with no breasts, I felt so unfeminine. So I booked the consultation with the private clinic in Stokenchurch and met the lovely Sinead and Mr Richards. They totally put me at ease and assured me i wasn’t being silly or vain and I would be able get the natural imperceptible result I was after. I booked my surgery for 3 weeks later! 8 weeks on I feel it was the best decision I’ve made and I’m so pleased with the results, have put some pictures up. I’m so glad I chose Mr Richards and the private clinic, I felt so well looked after in a low key, sophisticated way and at no point did I feel I’d made the wrong decision! I would say that the before and after images on their website are not a good indication of the results, that’s why I’m putting pics I took myself on here. In their after pics they make you put your hands behind your back and it makes the breast look high, hard and unnatural, mine look so natural and soft and I’m only 8 weeks post op. From start to finish my experience with The Private Clinic, Northampton was top-notch. I had a consultation first and all my questions were answered. I was given a quote for my procedure - this included everything (post-op appointments/medication/bandages). I had the op done in London on a Monday morning. I had no complications and I left after a few hours to recuperate at home. I was able to contact the clinic nurse (Aggie) with any concerns and I any queries I did have (only 2) were answered within a few minutes. I had a follow-up appointment in Northampton at 1 week, 2 weeks and finally at 6 weeks. I listened to everything the told me to do (and not do) and I have healed superbly. Very very happy with my results. Cannot fault the surgeon, staff or clinic at all. I would highly recommend them!
