In combination with my microneedling I had on my face (which I loved), I asked about treatments for my hands. I wanted to get rid of sun spots and dry crepey skin. The peel was recommended. Although I received a discount on the peel, I’m super dissatisfied. It did nothing for the skin on my hands. My skin didn’t even peel on my hands. It did flake a bit on my wrists/forearms. The service where I had the peel was exceptional but the peel itself was not worth the money at all. Maybe it’s better for face, but I wish I did not waste money on it. I should have done micro needling on my hands instead.
I always had insecurity issues with my lower abdomen area. In general, I do have a small, petite frame; however, my stomach area has always been bloated and I always had a lower gut that protruded out no matter if I worked out or tried to change my diet. My lower abdomen was stubborn and I realized it would not go away with regular exercise and diet. I started to look for different options out there and after doing some research, it came down to either cool sculpting or sculpsure. I eliminated liposuction because I did not want to go under the knife just yet and liposuction does not give you the results you want permanently. After reading the different reviews between cool sculpting and sculpsure, I opted for sculpsure because sculpsure supposedly gave patients a more “even and smooth” look over their new skin whereas cool sculpting sometimes left patients with a “shelf of uneven fat”. After my consultation, I decided to settle for the 2 sessions of sculpsure for a price of $2000 total. To me, the price seemed worth it since I was desperate to remove the fat and I wanted to see if the procedure lived up to the actual expectations. For the experience itself, the nurse will most likely tell you that it feels like heavy period cramps but in reality it hurt SO bad. At times, I couldn’t even talk and in the moments that I almost gave up, the cooling period would start and I would finally catch a breath. After the session was over, your treated area would feel sore but it was definitely tolerable. I would continue my day like nothing had happened and nobody close to me had noticed anything. I followed their directions to drink a ton of water and massage my area when I can (waiting at red lights, in the shower, watching Netflix, anything lol). For the first couple of weeks, I wouldn’t notice much..I don’t think I began to see any changes until week 4 or 5. My next session was scheduled at week 6 and I had to endure the pain all over again but to me it was well worth it if I could start seeing results at the end. After my second and final session ended, I repeated the after-procedure steps all over again; however, I have to admit I was slacking off towards the end. I continued to go to the gym however I wasn’t doing anything too different or rigorous. My gym routine usually consisted of either doing cardio for 30 minutes and another area or signing up for those hour long classes like yoga, Pilates, cycling, zumba, etc. Fast forward to week 10-12, I definitely started noticing major results. My stomach seemed a lot flatter from the profile view and clothes that seemed tight on me before now fit perfectly. Other people even commented to me that I looked slimmer asking if I had changed my diet or workout routine but in actuality I hadn’t. In all, I think sculpsure is well worth it but it definitely 50% the procedure and 50% your own effort and diligence! If you think you can follow the post procedures directions well, then I think you can have a good chance of seeing the results you want. Updated on 9 Aug 2019: I came in to do my after photo shots and I’m very satisfied with my results. I notice a very big difference in the lower part of my midsection. The middle part is also finally flat from the top. My first session was in February and I came in to take these photos in August. Updated on 28 Sep 2019: I took pictures weekly to document the progress personally but here is a photo of my midsection before the procedure and after. Normally, people will begin to see results on the 4th or 5th week with the most optimal results seen at the 12th week however I think the results keep on getting better and better since these photos are taken 7 months apart.
New Skin and Body Aesthetics is my new favorite medspa I will never go anywhere else after the wonderful experience I had here. I instantly was turned on by the ambience very relaxing and chic.. the place smelt wonderful thanks to all of the essential oil diffusers. This made me instantly feel comfortable, then I was greeted by Dr.Susan who is such a sweet beautiful lady and she explained everything very thoroughly. I got Botox and eyebrow lift which I have got in the past but this time was different I felt no pain and felt genuinely taken care of by the staff. I am so happy that I found this place I will definelty be coming back for my future procedures!! If your thinking of getting anything done PLEASE do yourself a favor and go here, the patience she has is unreal and will be able to explain everything with ease.
I love New Skin and Body! Susan and her staff are great! I have been getting Xeomin over the last year and Susan does such a great job administering the injections. The product speaks for itself and works wonderful as well! My results were amazingly fast! I highly recommend New Skin. They are thorough when discussing different treatment options and are always friendly. The office is beautiful, clean and has a zen like atmosphere. I will continue to go to New Skin for all my beauty and skin care needs!
I am 36, 5'4", 125 pounds and Asian American. My body type is genetically predisposed to my having a short torso; where a difference in 10 pounds dramatically collects around my waistline. I'm an omnivore and recently went on the ketogenic diet. Despite a regimented workout, (30 min stair master/4 days + 4-day split), my midsection remains soft, and I'd always been that way. I'd been doing research on skin tightening/fat removal and wanted to slim my short mid-section, short of doing liposuction. I came across New Skin and Body Aesthetics and met with RN Susan for my consult to address my issues. She suggested a combo treatment for my abdomen and back flanks area. She was friendly, informative, and patiently answered all of my questions. She gave a thorough walkthrough of the procedure and of the office; it's beautiful, serene, and clean. The staff is very friendly, warm and supportive. I am currently midway through my treatment, so I will definitely update with before and after pics. I opted to do Sculpsure first (since it was mentioned that it would be more painful in my back flanks area) then finish up with my Exilis Ultra 360 treatments for the combo. She outfitted me with the apparatus and made sure that the plates had full contact with the area and checked to make I was comfortable. Another machine was brought in to cool the area during the procedure. That was the best part! It blew ice cold air while Sculpsure worked and didn't impede in the process in anyway. The procedure itself was pretty straightforward - find the proper size plates for the area, create full contact, and cooling during the 25 min procedure (with constant feedback). However, due to the back flanks having more nerves and much more vascular in nature, I thought I could handle the pain that accompanied the warming cycle. It was very difficult for me. Everyone has a different threshold for pain; hormones, hydration, etc. make a huge difference as well. I've been doing some light cardio after the session and massaging the area and remaining hydrated. After my first session, I've noticed a huge difference in how I fit in my jeans! I'm excited to see final results in 12 weeks! I'm glad I chose this method instead of going under the knife and highly recommend anyone to try it. Just be wary of your pain tolerance and remember "no pain, no gain!"
I can’t tell you how many times I’d hear, “so, when is the baby due?” only to reply, “oh, I’m not pregnant. I’m just fat”. After a significant weight loss, I really didn’t want surgery as my only option for removing residual belly fat. I had seen friends who had it done. I also had friends who chose an alternative non-invasive, but their abdomens looked as though they had multiple shark bites when they finished their treatments. After reading studies from the National Institute of Health (NIH) and FDA approved non-invasive treatments, I decided on SculpSure at New Skin and Body Aesthetics in Irvine, California. In the stunningly decorated office, and the warm and inviting staff, I had my consultation. The consultation was thorough and thoughtful. It was agreed that I would have a combination of treatments; 8 SculpSure (for the fat removal) and 4 BTL Exilis Ultra treatments (for skin tightening). I started my first SculpSure treatment in June of 2017. Four pods in four different locations on my belly. Once the pods were attached, the treatments began. The pod sensation cools then warms, then cools. As the time progresses with the treatment, the sensation intensifies. The best way I could describe the feeling was a cool air-condition blast, followed by tiny ants marching with tiny fiery sneakers…and back to the cool air-condition blast. Since the warm sensation isn’t something we normally feel, I can understand how some may perceive the warmth as burning. But when I touched my skin after the pod was removed, it wasn’t sensitive like a burn, it felt like normal skin. When I completed the first treatment, I followed the instructions carefully: drink plenty of fluids; avoid alcohol; gently massage the area in the following days after treatment; check for nodules… etc. The caring staff from New Skin and Body Aesthetics called the following day to check to see how I was doing. I felt great! Four weeks later, I could see a difference in the way may clothes fit and I was ready for my next series of treatments. Once the SculpSure treatments were finished, the BTL Exilis Ultra was used to help tighten the skin. The BTL Exilis Ultra felt like someone rubbing a warm, smooth river stone over my tummy. Both the SculpSure and the BTL Exilis Ultra treatments were a tremendous help. I could go on and on how happy I am with the results. I can absolutely recommend SculpSure and BTL Exilis Ultra as an alternative for surgery as well as the amazing and remarkable staff at New Skin and Body Aesthetics. For me, the best results are not having anyone ask me anymore “when’s the baby due?”
Sculpsure was a fast and painless treatment! The slight discomfort during this treatment can be comparable to strong period cramps, but it’s relieved with intervals of cooling! I did two treatments on my flanks and received great results! Finally found a treatment that significantly reduced stubborn fat!
The experience with sculpture was easy and the results were amazing. After doing it once I noticed fat reduction and after the second one even more reduced stomach fat and tighter skin. I feel so much better in clothes that are fitted around the stomach since having my second sculpsure procedure. It really did wonders for my overall look and confidence in my belly area. Which was a big problem area after my pregnancy. I love the results I had with sculpsure especially after the second treatment and it really is quick and virtually pain free to have such amazing results!!! So thankful New Skin & Body Aesthetics offers this amazing procedure.
Absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely knowledgeable, extremely confident, and very professional. I will absolutely return to this establishment for my follow up sculpture treatments in the future! My results were outstanding, my lower abdomen and side flanks were significantly smaller and tighter. The procedure was quick and easy and pretty much painless. But the friendly staff members and that clean atmosphere made it all the more enjoyable. I can’t wait to return to new skin and body just to see the staff again!!
Im a healthy individual who works out often but couldn't rid of the fat around my abdomen. So i did a bit of research between coolsculpting and Sculpsure and the answer was clear, Sculpsure: less painfull, shorter treatment time and no side effects compared to coolsculpting Susan Nilon from New Skin & Body Asthetics chose the area carefully around my abs and hooked me up to the machine. I didn't know what to expect in terms of pain, but honestly it wasn't that bad at all, very tolerable. After 25 minutes of alternating heat and cold waves, I was done and headed back home. A few weeks after I started to notice firmer stomach and getting smaller so I decided to treat the same area again to see a better result. Now a few months after the second treatment, my pants fit much better and I already see a smaller stomach and definition
