I had a wonderful experience with A New You Plastic Surgery. I went to Dr. Samir Shah for botox and booked a Mommy makeover the next day....It was something I have thought about for a few years and the minute he explained what he could do to make me confident again I knew I wanted him to do the surgeries. I felt comfortable instantly with him and his staff(all the girls are wonderful). I am...
A few months ago I decided to look for a plastic surgeon. I wanted a facelift. As soon as I walked into A New You, I knew this was the Doctor that I felt comfortable with, I trusted with my surgery and care. I was Not disappointed. I got the best care before, during and after my surgery. I had a additional issue. I had a parotid tumor removed 40 years ago. Dr. Shah took extra time and care...
Ever since my teenage years, I've always been an A-cup; I did not like how my clothes fit and I did not feel comfortable in a swimsuit, so I finally decided to go ahead with the procedure. I was very nervous to go through with surgery, but once I met with Dr. Shah and the staff at the A New You Orland Park location I felt more at ease with my decision and confident in the procedure. Everyone...
Recently, I had filler injections at A New You Plastic Surgery and Laser Center. Dr. Samir Shah is very professional and does his job well. The staff is courteous, as they make you feel relaxed and at home. The outcome is remarkable, and I can see the difference that helps me to feel confident. I can't wait to go back for future procedures. I highly recommend Dr. Samir Shah to anyone seeking...
A: The goal with abdominoplasty is try to remove most of the stretch marks, at least below the belly button. Intraopertive assessment will determine how much skin can be remove safely. It seems based on the pictures, most of the stretch marks can be removed. Thank you
A: This is a good question. First, you are taking the correct first step to have the lump biopsied and fluid around the implant checked. With all the recent discussion of textured implants, seroma, and concern for ALCL, this is a mandatory workup.
Implants can have inherent issues whether saline or silicone, but generally saline implants over the muscle can cause more rippling. Factors such as breast tissue thickness, implant size can influence degree of rippling. Also, a structured saline implant is an option. This implant has internal scaffolds which can help limit implant collapse. You should have a detailed conversation with your plastic surgeon.

A: Typically, some degree of animation is seen after subpectoral implants. We do see less animation when a dual plane method is used; sometimes we have to release the muscle even at or above the level of the areola. Conversion to a subglandular plane essentially takes the muscle out of the equation. There are some issues with the fold also. It is best you discuss your case with your surgeon. All the best
A: We typically do not associate hair loss with capsular contracture. It would be worth a check up with your primary care doctor if it continues to be a concern. Thank you
A: One of the pictures does show the implant on the right is different position. The other picture you posted its harder to tell. Slight differences can exist after augmentation. Implants usually settle by about a year. You may have capsular contracture. Sometimes release and repositioning of implants can be done. Otherwise, the results are still reasonable. It is hard to provide advise unless you are examined in person. Thank you
