Lip Fillers

Lunallena7

Definitely not the look I was going for when spending that much money

Had a friend see Kaitlin Nelson for lip filler so I scheduled with her. Was like a 5 month wait out. When I got there I found out they had my name spelled something crazy, and that's why I never received any emails about the upcoming appointment. The girl that initially took me into the room had an attitude. She rubbed the numbing cream on my lips and then left, and then I waited there in the room for over an hour. Eventually Kaitlin came in and she had some guy with her, I figured an intern or something, but they never introduced him. After that things went okay. She was friendly and complimented me. A little unnerving that my first time with filler she doesn't really give me any instructions on care, I have to ask her before leaving about what I can and can't do based off what I read online. She is extremely nonchalant about it and tells me it'd be hard to mess them up. Well, here I am 2 weeks later and I have lumps all under my upper lip, and one big hard spot on my lower lip. The lower lip I had thought was swelling and would just go away, but never did. The bumps on my top lip all suddenly appeared around the 1 week mark when I started messing with my lips a bit more. I barely touched them before that, other than to apply lip balm. I contacted them and was told to send pictures, even though you can't tell anything by picture. They replied "Massage the bumps!" and that was it. I texted back asking more questions and they didn't answer a single one, they just said ok let's get you back in with Kaitlins ASSISTANT (the man from the room) to have him dissolve the bumps. I talked to someone elsewhere and they said they really can't control how much filler the dissolver will take, so for them to only remove the bumps would be impossible. I never got to speak to Kaitlin afterwards at all. I do not trust them enough to go back for that dissolver, and since they look pretty fine I'm just dealing with the bumps. My THOUSAND dollar lips definitely did not come out okay at all, and I am extremely upset and disappointed for this to be my first experience with this kind of stuff. Honestly they aren't even that big anymore either, I get comments saying it's barely noticeable. Definitely not the look I was going for when spending that much money, I wanted it to be noticed.
