I had the orbera Balloon procedure on October 28th 2023 to help with weight loss. I had gained 30 pounds since 2020 and had struggled losing weight with fad diets and exhausting exercise routines that left me hubgrier after each workout and contributed to me overeating.

Dr. Kaufman did my TT & 360 lipo. I have amazing results to say the least! He has the best bedside manner & is very honest when it comes to his patients expectations. I decided to have this procedure because I have always been unhappy with my breast! I was surprised about the healing process I don’t feel like there’s enough information out there to let you know what is it isn’t normal so I was very scared for about 6 weeks that something went terribly wrong. I am happy to say I’m very pleased with my results now. Dr.Chavez was very professional. She understood what I wanted and made it happen.

If you’re considering Miami Life Plastic Surgery with Dr. James McAdoo, RUN LIKE HELL and don’t look back! This was the most horrifying and appalling experience of my life. The clinic not only showed complete unprofessionalism but also held us hostage when we wanted to leave after arguing for hours over their last-minute price gouging.

Despite having already paid thousands and preparing for this surgery, including pre-op blood work, medications, travel expenses, and accommodations, they canceled my surgery just hours before it was scheduled. The reason? They added hidden fees at the last minute and refused to honor the agreed-upon price. When I questioned this, instead of resolving the issue, they flat-out canceled.

What made it worse was that when we decided to leave, the staff wouldn’t let us go. They told us we had to stay for additional paperwork, even though the surgery was canceled. We were stuck there for over four hours, hungry, tired, and frustrated, as they stonewalled us and refused to let us leave. This level of control and disregard for patients is unacceptable and felt like a hostage situation.

The clinic itself is a disaster. The waiting room smelled horrible, like rotting flesh, and post-surgical patients were sitting there visibly leaking blood and fluids onto the chairs. It was unsanitary and outright dangerous. The staff was rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful, treating me like an inconvenience rather than a paying patient.

I am out of pocket for non-refundable travel, hotel expenses, pre-op blood work, and medications. While they refunded the surgery fee, it does nothing to cover the financial and emotional toll of this nightmare.

This clinic and Dr. James McAdoo care more about money than patient safety or dignity. Their unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and unsafe practices are beyond appalling. Avoid this place at all costs. There are far better and safer options elsewhere.

Boobs split underneath and all the way up. Needed wound care doctor. Spent 4 months in bed. Tummy tuck done for nothing my muscle pertrudes still. Done for nothing. Dr. Michael Miller did not show any care for me during my surgery I felt stiches pop as soon as I got back to the hotel right out of surgery and tummy tuck done for nothing. Boobs had lift with implant. They sag and are uneven needed wound care Dr. For the last 3 months just to heal. Split all the up and underneath so painful. Scars are bumby and embarrassing I spent $15k for nothing but a worse body then what I had. They said they did pubis lipo and did not at all. But charged me for it.

My experience here was literally a life and death situation. If I can save at least one person from coming to this place, so they don’t experience the same thing as I did then I will feel justified. For starters, my surgeon was Dr. James McAdoo. During preop his assistant was totally unprofessional. She was on the phone, the whole time, speaking Spanish about some drama that she was going through, as she is doing the preop. She did not go through the process with care or concern about my surgery. The doctor the next day was a whole hour late and I didn’t feel like he had the best interest at hand. The only professional person was the anesthesiologist, he definitely made me feel safe, hence why I continued with the procedure. When I woke up they literally push you out the door like cattle.
The next couple of days I was in excruciating pain, and I knew something was wrong. I reached out to his assistant, and they brushed it off. I ended up going to the emergency room and they told me that I was near death. I contracted a bacteria from most likely unsanitary utensils that they used or some thing in the operating room that was not sanitized correctly. For the last two months I have spent at the hospital fighting for my life. I have had a total of 12 surgeries to clear the infection. Thankfully, I am alive, but when I contacted the facility to ask for a refund, they strung me along like I was going to receive a partial refund and then recently said that they will not be giving my money. I think it is incredibly dishonorable and shady of this whole establishment specially, for not holding the surgeon and his staff accountable.

My name is Christine C I had my surgery mastopexy, implants, and argumentation surgery on March 13 2023 with Dr. Chavez. This was the worst experience of my life. First, let me say this I did not get my prescription until the next day March 14when I went for my postop visit. I did 2 visits after my surgery with a nurse at the facility. On March 18 returned home after the surgery. A few days later I notice I had a discharge coming from my breast. I went ahead in sent the picture to Dr. Chavez she told me this was normal it was just fatty tissue. She sent me a list of items to buy. I notice a few days later it was getting worst so I sent a picture of the gauze in which she said it was an infection. On March 30 2023 I went to the emergency room where I was admitted in put on antibiotics which did not work. The Dr explains the infection is bad and that I need emergency surgery to remove the implants. On March 31 2023, the surgery was done, and the implants were removed. The Dr came in and spoke to me on April 1 2023 he said I had a very bad infection and they took pictures of my breast during the surgery. He explained the infection happened as soon as Dr. Chavez perform the surgery. The doctor stated he never see anything like this when the patient was 18 days post-op and had an infection this bad in both breasts. I reach out to Dr. Chavez all she said was sorry. I'm now on 900mg of antibiotics. This was a near-death experience. I asked Dr Chavez can I be reimbursed due to the situation from the surgery. I have not received a response to the question. Prior to that I have all the text messages between her and me to back up everything that I'm saying

I called about a lift with implants being I went to one of their Dr before no issue. They said Kaufman is the best he does great. I did my research seen nothing. After surgery I ended up in the hospital my breast looked deformed. They offered me 2500 to remain silent. I refused they then blocked me on every social media and phone number possible. Many he has botched but they are embarrassed to speak up.

My experience was ok , wasn’t personal at all and I didn’t receive any information on post care and I have reach out for information for after care it’s been 4 days nothing , so basically I had ETT / MR AND that’s it , only told me how long to leave in drain that’s it . So I have to go on groups to look up information from other doctors
