7 Years Post Op and Still Satisfied

I had gastric Sleeve surgery 6/29/2012 by the original founder dr Aceves and his assistant was dr Campos. I was 200+ pounds when I had surgery. I did tons of research especially coming from a nursing background. Still to this day I am happy with my results and Mexicali Bariatric is still in communication with me. Worth It

My 1 year post-op review of DR. Esquerra, Mexicali Bariatric Center, and Hospital Almater

It’s been exactly 1 year and 2 days since my Duodenal Switch surgery with Dr. Esquerra and Mexicali Bariatric Center (MBC). My surgery was 5\23\18. I have purposefully put off writing this review until now in order to give a totally objective response about my experience with Dr. Esquerra and MBC. Too many reviews are written just after surgery when emotions are running extremely high or extremely low, which skews the review. Now who wants to trust that kind of review? Not

Highest Level of Care

Dr. Campos and his team far exceeded our expectations! He is a fabulous, knowledgeable and caring doctor. His team work well together and you can tell they have great respect for him AND that they take pride in providing the absolute highest level of customer service to their patients. Worth It

A great hospital

I had a Duodenal Switch at Mexicali Bariatrics in June of 2017. Since then - writing in October 2018 - I have lost around 130 pounds. The staff were excellent to work with leading up to the surgery, and when I arrived everyone was courteous and professional. After the surgery, the follow-up care both while in the hospital and at home was excellent and quick. I have told others in my personal life about the practice and would recommend it enthusiastically to anyone.

Satisfied Patient

My thoughts as a patient and an ICU nurse for over 13 years. I really liked all of the staff from the coordinators, physicians, nurses, housekeeping And dietary staff. The physicians were attentive and took great care of me before, during and after surgery. The coordinators were there every step of the way. The nurses were caring and took fantastic care of me. The housekeeping staff there never stops, that hospital is so clean. Hospitals in the US are not as clean. Everyone was
