Amazing Results - incision is very low and you can hardly see it

I have had several procedures with this Dr and he is genuine, honest and very good at all that he does. I had researched for quite a while on real self and some after pictures were not at all the results that I wanted. Some incisions and scars looked awful. I am shocked that my incision is right where my c-section scar was, very low and you can hardly see it. So pleased with my results!!

Better than expected - they went above and beyond

From the first consultation through my post op appointment, my experience with Dr. Mesna and his staff were above my expectations. The staff is friendly, caring, professional, and go above and beyond making you feel comfortable and cared for. Dr. Mesna's knowledge, experience and bed side manner make him the ideal doctor for my experience throughout this process.

Smart Lipo and Renuvion - both he and his staff are so pleasant to work with

I would highly recommend Dr. Mesna to anyone. Both he and his staff are so pleasant to work with, and his skill level is top-notch! I am so very happy with both the Smartlipo and Renuvion treatments Dr. Mesna performed on my upper arms and outer thigh. Thank you Dr. Mesna!

Lipo with Renuvion + halo laser for chin/neck rejuvenation

I hated the contour of my chin/neck before. I am genetically predisposed to a thick fat pad under my chin and loose neck skin. So by my mid-thirties I was already looking for help in these areas. I was so embarrassed of my turkey neck I would hide behind my hair. Even at the gym I would avoid putting my hair in a ponytail because I felt like my biggest flaw was on full display. Dr. Mesna...

Highly Recommend! Dr. Mesna is great!

Dr. Mesna is great! We tried the new "Renuvion" procedure to help with minor loose tummy skin from having a child. Works amazing as alternative to mini tummy tuck and you can avoid the scar! H He makes you feel safe and addresses your concerns with science.

40 Q&A

Q: I had an arm lift done 2 weeks ago. It looks like my doc didn't remove enough fat/skin at all. Will they tighten up? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. MesnaMarch 21, 2017

A: I hope your arms have continued to improve and that you have found additional assistance if necessary. There are limits to how much skin you can remove without jeopardizing your circulation and nerve supply to your forearms and hands. I would encourage you to follow up with a board certified plastic surgeon who can address these concerns to help minimize your risks of permanent swelling and numbness in your forearms and hands and also make sure that you and your surgeon have realistic goals and expectations of what the surgery can do as well as it's limitations.

Q: Is it normal for your arms to still feel hard and bumpy after 3 weeks of armlift?
Answered by Dr. MesnaMarch 21, 2017

A: Swelling, tightness, lumps, bumps, numbness, etc. are common findings after arm lifts and other procedures, especially if you had liposuction performed at the same time. All of these findings can wax and wane during the recovery process but generally they tend to improve over time. Gently massaging these areas can facilitate the process but I would recommend checking with your surgeon to make sure that your incisions are healed well enough to begin the massaging.

Q: 415cc, 9 days post-op. Did I go too small on implant size? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. MesnaMarch 21, 2017

A: From the photos it does not look like your implants are too small. You appear to have a taller, but narrower trunk along with a lower inframammary fold level. The width of your breasts (and implants) is a more limiting factor for your implant size. Larger implants would likely stick out even farther on the sides of your chest creating a more unnatural appearance.

Q: My second piercing on my left earlobe has been split. Can I go to the hospital to get stitches to repair it? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. MesnaMarch 23, 2016

A: Unfortunately the earlobe will need fresh surfaces for it to be sewn together and heal. This is usually not something that the emergency department will repair so I would recommend contacting a couple of plastic surgery practices in your area to see what they would charge to repair this for you. It is usually a relatively simple procedure that you can have done in the office with local anesthetic.

Q: How should a Hematoma be treated 4 weeks Post-op? (photos)
Answered by Dr. MesnaMarch 23, 2016

A: This sounds like a very reasonable approach to take. A hematoma is a collection of blood so the fact that blood is all that came out (especially if it was dark blood) is a good sign that a hematoma is what you are dealing with. Time will help decide whether or not your body will absorb the fluid or if your doctor may want to remove some more with a needle. Time and patience are a virtue so keep in touch with your doctor and she should be able to get you through this.
