From start to finish, my experience has been fantastic. I first met Dr. Sam in his London clinic, who immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. Once I decided to go ahead with the surgery,(Mummy make over). I was assigned a coordinator who I could contact at any time with any questions. She always got back to me almost straight away, which was very reassuring. When I arrived in Turkey, I was picked up from the airport and taken to the hotel. During the journey, my coordinator called to make sure everything was okay. The hotel was very clean and tidy, which made a great first impression. The following day, I was taken to the hospital, which was also very clean and well organised. I met my anaesthetist and had all the necessary tests and blood work done to make sure everything was safe for surgery. Dr. Sam came in to discuss the procedure, did the markings on my body, and really put me at ease. The day after surgery, Dr. Sam came to see me again to check that I was feeling okay and to review the results. The nursing staff were great — they checked on me regularly and made sure I was comfortable. I stayed in the hospital for two nights before returning to the hotel. Back at the hotel, nurses were available all day and visited me twice a day. I was also given their contact number so I could reach them 24 hours a day if needed. One of the Mayclinik doctors also came to visit me at the hotel, which was a lovely extra level of care. One days before leaving, I went to the Mayclinik in Istanbul to see Dr. Sam for a check-up. He went through everything I needed to do once I got home, and I also met my nurse, who I would stay in contact with afterwards. Once I returned home, my nurse contacted me every day to make sure everything was okay. I’m still in contact with her now if I have any questions. I have also been back to see Dr. Sam in London twice since my operation for follow-up checks, as he likes to see his patients every three months. Dr. Sam is an outstanding surgeon. He makes you feel completely at ease, and I am so happy with my results — my scars look amazing.

I had an incredible experience with Mayclinik, and my surgeon, Dr Yusuf Acar. I was initially nervous about having surgery abroad, but after doing extensive research, Dr Yusuf and the Mayclinik quickly became my top choice. I had a breast lift with implants by Dr Samet Sendur in December 2025, what I like about my doctor is his true care for his patients and he made sure that the implant sizes match with my body so it really doesn’t feel fake and even the feel and size is very natural. As a patient from the Uk having access to their other clinic here in London for aftercare check ups makes me feel more supported and reassured that my healing is going well, where I also haven’t had any issues since surgery, even the clinic and hospital in Turkey, Istanbul were very nice, clean and organised. I had my accommodation and transport already sorted out for me before I got there and I was honestly surprised with how minimal pain and discomfort I felt after surgery, my results make me feel better with my body and i am glad that I chose Mayclinik, I would definitely come back again as I had an amazing experience and Dr Samet Sendur is very skilled in what he does so I recommend anyone considering this procedure to choose Mayclinik and Dr Samet Sendur with confidence! ????

This clinic is a credit to health tourism in Turkey,I spent many weeks and months researching different clinics in turkey and opted to use Mayclinik due to they professional expertise and answering any questions and concerns promptly. When I arrived in Istanbul I was greeted by my transfer driver who took me to my hotel which was first class that had all the amenities and comforts you would expect for your stay and the breakfast was really good that was included in the package. The following day I went to the hospital where I was giving thorough tests before my surgery then I discussed my surgery with Dr Samet Sendur who is very nice and knowledgeable he certainly put me at ease and give me confidence that I was in good hands. The surgery went smoothly and the aftercare was first class even when I was discharged I had nurses that took care of me throughout my stay. I cannot praise Dr Sam and his team enough they are superb and very professional so if you are thinking of cosmetic surgery get in touch with Mayclinik for first class results and care throughout the process.

So pleased with the whole experience. I’d like to start off by saying im a very anxious person, and not once at the start of the communication with Mayclinik did they ever make me feel bad for asking so many questions and for needing so much reassurance. From the minute you book, the team are involved and checking in with you, giving you advice on how to prepare. They give you detailed instructions upon your arrival.. what to expect and who will be greeting you and where. You’ll be collected by a lovely driver who’s stocked with water and snacks. Throughout my time in Istanbul I was taken between the hotel, the clinik and the hospital. The first few days after your operation you’ll stay in one of the best private hospitals in Turkey and it really is 5 stars. From the consultation with the anaesthesiologist, the pre op screenings , the consultation with my surgeon (Dr Acar), was all so perfect, I felt so well informed and looked after, my surgery went amazing. I was advised on surgery day once an in person examination was done that extra lipo needed to be carried out at an extra cost so perhaps make sure you have an extra surgery budget available incase further work is advised once they see you in person. After the surgery the care is phenomenal, they’ll keep you well stocked with pain killers, antibiotics, they keep very close checks on your observations and provide meals tailored by their own nutritionist. After the hospital stay I was transferred to their hotel, the beds were comfortable the hotel was warm and welcoming and a lovely breakfast is provided Daily. You can also get this delivered to your room for free Although I do advise venturing out to the restaurant where there’s slightly more options. During the hotel stay I had the worlds sweetest nurses visiting 3 times a day , cleaning my wounds, doing my obs, providing lymphatic massages, water was also well stocked by hotel staff. Breakfast is only included in your package and the hotel food isn’t cheap ( but very delicious)so factor an extra £30-50 per day for food expenses in the hotel. I were given medication and really helpful instructions, they have multiple staff available to contact over text at all times if there’s anything wrong or you need anything and are just so attentive. I’m home now and absolutely over the moon with my results and the care I’ve received. I will 100% be back if I’m looking for anymore procedures in the future and I’d whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone. And Thankyou to Dr Yusuf Acar for changing my life! The team really can’t do enough for you and have truly thought of everything. Even know I’m home and still in touch with the team with any questions or concerns I have and they’re so fast to respond and so helpful.

I recently had a deep plane face/neck lift & temporal lift. I’m around 5 weeks post op & I’m so happy with the results already. Dr Sam is AMAZING! He’s so kind & extremely talented in what he does. I really wanted natural results & he most definitely delivered on this. From start to finish my experience was great. Kaylee was fab from the start & the aftercare has also been top notch! I have now had 2 separate surgeries with Dr Yusuf Acar. From the very first communication to the last aftercare appointment, Mayclinik have been flawless. It is undoubtedly an emotional and worrying process to commit to and the amount of trust that you need to have with those people you are handing over your health and wellbeing to is for me the most important thing. So this is a complete honest review from me. Firstly, you yourself need to be really open and honest about not only what you want but the result you expect. DO NOT take it for granted that people know.. they don’t, but you do!! Communication is key. Mayclinik listen, they understand, they will help you navigate not only the physical challenges but the huge emotional ones, which is truly the hardest part. From your initial consultation they are transparent and do explain what your final result will be. You need to either accept this or find another procedure that works best. That is what happened with me. Mayclinik is not the clinic that says yes we can do this just because they can do it or need the money. Be prepared for them to say no, as your thoughts and expectations are not achievable the way you think it should be. What Mayclinik do and what they excel in is explaining each step, why it is required and what the outcome would be, I asked for a revision abdominoplasty with some liposuction, a thigh lift and arm scar revision. However the surgery would not have been as effective as the two separate surgeries that Mayclinik advised that I should have and each one would be done with at least 10-12 months recovery between. That was hard to hear.. we all want an instant fix, however not only were Mayclinik fantastic on cost, but they also fixed the prices a good year before the surgery could be completed, due to ever rising costs for everything this was also a wonderfully welcome gesture. Your health, your recovery and rehabilitation is the most important thing for them and they do not compromise on it at all. The first surgery was a full 360 tummy tuck with Vaser liposuction. Compression garments are included, you pay for your additional medication to bring home. You are not compelled to get it .. it’s your choice. Nothing is rushed, everything is made to fit around you and your well being, the nursing staff on hand to soothe the uncomfortable feelings, the emotional up and downs and even just to brush your hair if you feel a bit yuk. Again the team is there, they know, they understand. Listen to them, be guided by their experience. I trust no one unless it’s earned, but you know in your gut when genuine care and empathy is in front of you. Every person on their team from drivers who will slow down on a hugely busy bustling road to avoid a bump so you can travel in comfort, who open doors for you and gently help you in and out of their immaculate vehicles, right up to the Doctors, Dr Yusuf who literally can transform your body into the shape you want with little to no scarring… it’s so true he is incredible, to Dr Sam another proficient surgeon who is more than happy to offer assistance and aftercare in London should you need it. It’s actually mad if you think about it. You have access to top top top quality nursing staff, just incredibly talented surgeons and aftercare in London. There is no risk. There is no reason to worry. My second surgery was a thigh lift, back lift, vaser lipo and arm revision. This sounds a lot in one go right??? As I said I had the 360 tummy lift first then recovered and then had this lot! I thought it was crazy when it was first put to me this way however when you look at recovery, aftercare and also final results it needed to be this way to get the result I so desired in my head. Not only that but the recovery and healing process is far more manageable, and as we are being honest, it has to be doable doesn’t it or we simply would not keep it up! They keep it manageable, they keep it straightforward and easy. Trust. It’s a huge word. I think I’ve gone way beyond trust now. I know that not only will I get the aesthetic look I wanted.. well I have so far, I am still in the recovery phase (part 2) but I know my health and wellbeing has also been managed just as well. This makes Mayclinik priceless. I totally appreciate the worry, the hesitation and the fear of seeking surgery from outside the UK. However the hospital is immaculate, the facilities spotless and way advanced in terms of quality of medical care and also equipment and medical care. Mayclinik is like having a big protective shield all around you to make sure from start to finish not even the slightest blip bothers you or interferes with the medical journey you have trusted them with.

I had my mommy makeover — tummy tuck with 360 lipo, breast lift, and arm lift — with Dr. ?afak Çak?r at MayClinik Istanbul on October 16th, which was also my birthday. I’m now 3 weeks and 4 days post-op, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. I live in Austin, Texas, and my husband and I chose Istanbul as part of our slow-travel year focused on medical tourism. I first found Dr. ?afak on Instagram and immediately loved his artistry — especially his belly buttons, which truly stood out to me. The care from the post-op nursing team was absolutely 5-star. Elif, Merve, and Selda took such good care of me — checking wounds, giving lymphatic massages (painful but the good kind), and helping me learn bits of Turkish along the way. The Point Hotel was perfect for recovery, with comfortable beds, accommodating staff, and a complimentary breakfast. By my two-week follow-up, I was walking upright and already amazed by my results. Dr. ?afak is a true artist. My new belly button looks so natural, and my body finally feels like it matches who I am inside. The results are beautiful, and I am healing rapidly. An unexpected gift was meeting other women recovering at the same time — we became instant friends and supported one another through the highs and lows. Recovery has been challenging both physically and mentally, but I can’t imagine having done it anywhere else. I chose Istanbul because of the high quality of care and affordability — the level of post-operative support I received here would have been impossible to afford back home in the U.S. The Turkish people have been kind, warm, and caring in every interaction. I would absolutely return to MayClinik and Dr. ?afak Çak?r for future procedures or treatments. This experience has been life-changing, and I’m deeply grateful.

I had tummy tuck, lipo and muscle repair at mayclinik. My experience exceeded my expectations from booking to the surgery. I am so happy with dr yusuf work I am just over 4weeks post op and my scar is nearly non existent already. All staff/nurses are lovely and very attentive they made the whole experience run smoothly and I had no need to worry about anything. If I was worried or had concerns there was always someone to put me at ease and reassure me.
