The Best Location & Team

So I did lipo & a BBL last December for some reason I wasn't pleased with my abdominal area. I went for my follow-up and stated my issue which Dr K didn't give me a hard time. One week post-op and I am really happy with the results so far

Underwent lipo 360 one week ago and I am really happy with the results so far, and I know as the swelling goes down things will get even better. Dr Kalsow was so wonderful; he took time to explain everything and understand my concerns and expectations. The office staff was so friendly and helpful as well, and so easy to message them and ask questions. I shopped around NYC for a surgeon,...

Made sure I was aware of how I would look

Dr.Kalsow was awesome and listened to all my concerns. He let me know what he could realistically do with my body structure and made sure I was aware of how I would look. I love the way my breast lift came out and my tummy tuck scar is so fine.

Q: What's the best option for sagging and side boob due to recent weight loss? 112 lbs down, goal is smaller, perky look (photo)
Answered by Dr. KalsowJanuary 7, 2023

A: One is to do a lift with extension of the horizontal incision laterally, to cut out the extra skin on the side. Another option is to do a lift with agressive liposuction on the side. When the fat is removed, the skin will come in, getting rid of the side fullness without the scar there.

Q: Surgeon didn't mark me up before surgery - why?
Answered by Dr. KalsowJanuary 7, 2023

A: For a breast lift, surgeons need a lot of markings. For implants, the only marking you really need is where you will make the incision, underneath the breast. That marking can be done in the operating room, while you are lying down he would push the breast downwards, so it reforms the crease, and puts a marking in there. I mark the breasts before hand, but if someone has been doing it for 30 years, and all they do is breast implants, maybe they are comfortable doing markings later.

Q: Which procedure options would help correct deflated breasts with minimal scarring? (photos)
Answered by Dr. KalsowJanuary 7, 2023

A: I would put a small implant to fill out the superior pole more and to give them more fullness. Since you dont want to be bigger, put a small implant, just to give the volume. The lift you dont need, it wount make much difference just give you a scar.

Q: Asymmetrical breasts 1 year post op - What could have caused this? (photo)
Answered by Dr. KalsowJanuary 7, 2023

A: You have to look at your pre op photos, sometimes you will see some asymmetry there, even though you didnt notice it before because you were not looking close enough. They look in the right place and the same size. Perhaps one side is forming a capsular contracture, if it is becoming hard. I would talk to the surgeon who put them in.

Q: Two different opinions. Should I go for a lollipop lift with implants or no lift? (Photo)
Answered by Dr. KalsowJanuary 7, 2023

A: In your case, I would just do implants, your nipples are pointing straight you dont need a lift I think, just to add some more volume because they deflated a little. The scars would not be worth it, and wont give you much more improvement aside from implants.
