My name is Gladys F - not posting my entire name and photos for privacy. I had the following procedures with Dr. Hochstein: Tummy Tuck, Face and Neck Lift, Breast Lift and Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty I hit the age of 48 and loss about 65 pounds so gravity and loose skin had taken over my life. It was very depressing to look at my self in the mirror. I did a thorough research of top US plastic surgeons and the decision was very easy once I saw Dr. Hochstein's work via photos and read all the testimony in real self. I sent Jennifer - his out of town patient coordinator and one of the most professional, joyful and kindest people I've ever met - all my photos (I'm in NY) and we did a phone consultation. Dr. Hochstein was very kind and sensitive to my needs. A year before this I had gone to a country in Latin America to get my double chin removed and the Doctor basically burned part of my double chin and left me with one side of my chin flat (this is the side that was burned) the other side was very bulky and lumpy. I begged Dr. Hochstein to fix my neck. He was very honest and told me he would do his best and I would look completely different but he would not promise perfection due to the damage the other surgeon had done. I was a bit sad when I heard that but I said given the photos I've seen and the reviews - if anyone can do its Dr. Hochstein. The thing that I didn't know about him - until after the surgeries - is that he's a perfectionist - my neck looks better than when I was in my 20s! Dr. Hochstein agreed to do the face and neck lift and the tummy tuck first in June of 2016. I'd have to go back to Miami for the eyes and the breast lift 6 months later. Jennifer coordinated everything for me in such a caring manner as if I was a family member - from all the details of the pre-surgery exams to offering transportation/hotel in Miami etc. I met Dr. Hochstein and his staff the day before the surgery so we can discuss all details again and he could answer my questions. He was very kind, made me feel so comfortable. I knew I had chosen the right Doctor. Surgery date came and everything went very well. I was due to see him the day after surgery in the morning when he would remove the bandages and I would see my stomach and my face and neck. He did it in front of a big mirror and I just burst out crying when I saw myself - I look 30 years old, my neck is perfect absolutely no sign that I had been disfigured just 24 hours before, my stomach is flat and I even have a beautiful waist!! I forgot to mention that I also had fat transferred from my belly to my buttock - it had flatten out with age. I now have a nice round one :-). I was feeling great and looking gorgeous so I returned to NY within a week. However, once here, I started to exert my self at home - one of the things I was warned about very much by Dr. Hochstein, Jennifer and his amazing nurse Jackie who also took care of me like I was her sister!. I developed a seroma. The stomach hurt and was very swollen. I texted Dr. Hochstein and within 5 mins he answered me. He called antibiotics into my NY pharmacy and I got them right away. He asked to go to the hospital and told me what to tell the Doctors in terms of treatment etc. He followed up with me personally twice more that day and every day after that until it seemed I was OK. Unfortunately, the hospital I went to in NY didn't seem to treat the seroma correctly and it came back full force several times. After several treatments and having all the symptoms come back, I contacted Dr. Hochstein and he asked me two things: first to please do not go back to the hospital, he indicated that the seroma had to be surgically removed and the Doctors in the hospital didn't do that. He said unless the seroma is removed, you'll continue to go through this episodes of pain and fluid build up. Second, go back to Miami, he offered to remove the seroma by doing a revision tummy tuck for free - I'd only had to pay for the anesthesia. This sounded like music to my ears so I went back to Miami in January 2017 and had a revision tummy tuck and seroma removal as well as the breast lift and bleph. The only thing I can tell you is that I look beautiful thank G-d and thank Dr. Hochstein! To give you another example of what a perfectionist he is. I was born with one of my vulva lips hanging much lower that the other, however, as I gained a lot of weight and then lost it, it became more noticeable. This gave me such a complex that I can't describe. I never ever discussed that with Dr. Hochstein because I was born like that - the last thing on my mind is that this could be fixed - meanwhile after the tummy tuck when he removed all the bandages both my vulva lips were hanging exactly at the same level!! When he was doing the tummy tuck, being the perfectionist he is, I guess he pulled up the skin from the side that was hanging lower and fixed it without charging me more money!! My experience with Dr. Hochstein has been outstanding, he's a perfectionist who cares a lot about all of his patients - as proven when I developed the seroma. Despite being on vacation, he was in touch with me several times a day - unbelievable! I hadn't met a Doctor who does that until I met Dr. Hochstein. His hands are blessed hands, he's a gifted, dedicated surgeon who will perform and care for his patientslike nobody else! His staff: Jennifer, Jackie, Vern, Amanda, Ana, Wafa and Jazmin are outstanding - G-d bless you all for how much you care for each patient and for all your support! Hochstein MedSpa - so on my second trip Jan, 2017 I decided to go to MedSpa to get a few Lymphatic massages with Maricielo - she's simply the best. Her hands are amazing and the massage helped me a lot with the recovery. I stayed in Miami for three weeks this time to ensure I would be under Dr. Hochstein's care longer than the first time. I also got cheek injections with Jenya who is the best also - my cheeks look beautiful. Lastly, I had IV therapy with Dr. Rusilko. If you're going through any procedure, I recommend both: the IV therapy and the massage for a faster recovery. Monica, Alona and Paulina were also super sweet and helpful to me at Hochstein MedSpa.
