...read moreI am so encouraged by the improvement in my skin since doing two Fotona 4D treatments. I have noticed that my skin is firmer and the pesky vertical lip lines have been improved quite a bit. One unique aspect I appreciate about the Fotona is it's able to treat the inside of the mouth (cheeks and nasolabial areas) and you can walk out with just slight redness. If you need more intense treatment in areas that need more correction (like my lip lines), you can have a tailored treatment for those areas basemen your down time and skin type. It is amazing!

I am 50 years old and have dealt with adult acne since was in my twenties. I consulted with Meghan, the R.N. at Hera Beauty and Wellness in Westlake Village since I had heard great things about Dr. C and the many treatments she offers for patients. Meghan was so understanding and reassuring in explaining what to expect during and after my first 25% TCA peel that I felt it would be a great first step in rejuvenating my skin. Meghan recommended Alastin medical-grade skin care to prepare my skin for the peel (and lasers to follow), explaining how important it is to clear out old cellular debris to allow space for new cells to form. The peel itself was very comfortable. The numbing cream was applied for 20 minutes and, during the peel, I only felt mild stinging in a few places around one eye and cheek, which only lasted a few minutes. I applied the Alastin Nectar at home several times per day after gently soaking my face with the vinegar and water recipe provided, and I was amazed at how quickly my skin healed. It was about 4 days before I was able to apply mineral powder and go out without too much redness and peeling. I am very grateful for Meghan's care and expertise. I feel she understands the complexity of acne and the effects it has on one's self-esteem. She knows what treatments can help you the most and will help you formulate an effective treatment plan that will fit your budget. I can't wait for the Fotona 4D laser treatment, which is what I am planning next.
