Wonderful experience for my facial fat transfer

I had fat loss damage from Ultherapy in my face and was so depressed. I went to Dr Garramone for a facial fat transfer and am so happy with my results. Dr Garramone is so knowledgeable and easy to talk to, and he takes time to listen to all my questions. His staff and injectors are also so kind and professional. I highly recommend this practice!

Entire Experience is Comfortable Not Intimidating

Everything from initial consolation to post op was nothing less that world class. I appreciate that Dr G has not only an exquisite eye for detail but a very precise hand. His stitch work is phenomenal. I could not be more pleased with my 2 surgeries. One huge factor for me is he has his surgical room on site and has his own anesthesiologist. The anesthesiologist called me night before each...

Q: Is 560cc to much for me?
Answered by Dr. GarramoneAugust 13, 2018

A: Thank you for your very good question.  In my opinion, size of the implant is the biggest choice with a breast augmentation. It is very difficult to predict cup size based on the size of the implant because the same sized implant in different patients with different sized breasts will yield different results.  Your final size is a combination of the original breast volume and the implant volume.  In my practice we use specially made sizers which fit over your breast, in a bra and then we have you wear a form fitting shirt so you can see how you will look with a certain size implant.  This along with measurements of your breast is the best way yo determine the size implant to use not starting with cup size.  Cup size is not uniform among bra manufactures which is another reason it is not the way to determine implant size.  I would seek one or two other consultations with Board Certified Plastic Surgeons in your area to help you determine the best implant size for you.  Best of luck.

Q: How much time off does a hairdresser need off after a breast augmentation?
Answered by Dr. GarramoneJune 29, 2018

A: Thank you for your question.  Most patients who have a desk type of job as an example will typically, in my practice, having the surgery on a Wednesday or Thursday and go back to work on Monday.  I usually recommend that her dressings take a few more days perhaps going back to a light schedule one week after the surgery and then increasing their schedule depending on how they feel.  Be sure to check with your doctor for his or her recommendations about. Best of luck.

Q: Swelling or not? I had 495cc high profile under the muscle round implants done 5 days ago.
Answered by Dr. GarramoneApril 20, 2018

A: No way to tell without photos.  If you are concerned you should follow up with your doctor.  The breast is swollen after surgery for several weeks so it is certainly swollen at 5 days.  The implants tend to be higher in the beginning  also.  I would be patient, but follow up with your surgeon.

Q: Would pregnancy ruin breast implants?
Answered by Dr. GarramoneApril 12, 2018

A: Thanks for a very good question.  It can be difficult to plan elective surgery around pregnancies.  In general if you are planning a procedure that is affected by pregnancy like a tummy tuck or breast lift I recommend waiting until you are done have children.  The pregnancy will not "ruin" the breast implants.  They will stay the same the change is to your breasts as you have experienced so far.  I would wait until you are done having children then it sounds as though you may need a breast augmentation with a breast lift which is more expensive than a breast augmentation alone since it is two procedures.  Best of luck.

Q: Is it possible for your breasts to get bigger, even years after augmentation?
Answered by Dr. GarramoneMarch 28, 2018

A: Everyones great size is made up of the implant size or volume and the volume of breast tissue and body fat.  The implant size will not increase so any change that you are experiencing is due to an increase in breast tissue or body fat.  If you want to be smaller you may want to decrease the size of the implant.  Depending on the degree of size change you may need a lift.  Your surgeon will be able to guide you with regard to this once you have an in person consultation.
