Dr. Mabourakh and his staff were amazing with answering any questions or concerns I had prior to surgery. After surgery I got a small skin infection near the incision which is common and Dr. Mabourakh was quick to take care of my needs with providing my prescription to the pharmacy for pick up and get me in for a office visit. He did an amazing job with my breast lift. I love how they have a natural look. If I plan any future procedures I would go to Dr. Mabourakh again.

I had my first breast augmentation surgery in 2000. 8 years later I had a ruptured implant and had both replaced. This year I had another ruptured implant. The physician who did my first two procedures retired so I was referred to Dr. Mabourakh. The staff at Folsom Plastic Surgery provided me with a wonderful experience from the very first phone contact I had with them. Dr. Mabourakh made me feel comfortable and took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Mabourakh's expertise is evident in the results he provides. I would highly recommend Dr. Mabourakh!

I am one month out from my breast augmentation. I incredibly happy with the results and this will not be the last procedure I have with Dr. Mabourakh. I appreciate Dr. Mahbourakh’s experience, knowledge and talent. I was confident and trusting of his suggestions and work. In addition to his skill, he was patient with my indecisiveness and allowed me to try on countless implants. I will say that Dr. Mahbourakh is not chatty which can be worrisome but I assure you to just trust him and the process.  Lastly, I never had a bad experience with his staff. Everyone from receptionists to nurses and even the anesthesiologist were so kind and made me feel comfortable when I was fearful of the surgery. I look forward to my next procedure!

I had a really good experience from start to finish with this facility. I'm one year out from my breast augmentation and I'm really, really happy with how everything turned out! Dr. Mabourakh is incredibly talented and capable. I looked through several surgeon portfolios and profiles in and out of CA before landing on Dr. Mabourakh. I chose him as my surgeon because even though his beautiful work speaks for itself, there were so many great reviews to support it. The facility and staff are really nice, and all my questions were answered thoroughly at my consultations and appointments. Dr. Mabourakh helped me decide on an implant size that felt right for me without overstepping and I'm very very happy with my results!

The only cons I had: 1. At my consultation we discussed my concern about scarring (my scars are all thick, raised and some are colored). After my surgery at all my post-ops scar treatment was never discussed. At my final post-op appointment in March I mentioned that my scarring is the only thing that bothers me, and I unfortunately found out that had it been addressed within 6 weeks of the surgery there were more options for minimizing the scarring. Fortunately the scars are under the breasts so they're rarely visible and there is still treatment for it, but I wish Dr. Mabourakh would have brought up treatment instead of me and sooner.

2. This last con will obviously vary person-to-person and clearly did not affect my decision to have Dr. Mabourakh be my surgeon, but Dr. Mabourakh's bedside manner was not as strong as other surgeons I consulted with. Personally I would rather have a capable, consistent surgeon who is less personable than a friendly surgeon I don't feel confident in. But I think it's worth mentioning for anyone that values bedside manner.

Overall I would choose this facility and Dr. Mabourakh EVERY TIME. My experience was great and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

My first surgery, and let me tell you! This is the best place to go to. The staff was so friendly, professional and welcoming. The day of my surgery, I was super nervous but the nurses made me feel very comfortable. The surgery itself went by very fast and smooth; about an hour or less. By the time I woke up, it was time to go home. If I decide to get any more work done, I would definitely come back to Dr. M!

I was a A/small B, 140 pounds, 5’3”

I chose 455CC Sientra. I believe that’ll make me a 36D.

Dr. M and his staff were all great from scheduling consultation to pre-op to surgery day. I found Dr. M through yelp and also here on realself. I went through all his before and after photos and really liked all of them. When it came to consultation day Dr. M explained the type of implants and the process of a BA procedure. What he recommended was exactly what I wanted, silicone/gummy (smooth, round) under the muscle, incision under the breast. Next was the fun part, sizers. He had me try on the silicone sizers starting from 300cc and ask if I liked it or want it bigger. I ended with 455cc and 435cc due to asymmetry. I came home thought about the sizes and decided to go slightly bigger since I'm going under the muscle and may lose some volume. I called the office and had them change to 485cc and 505cc smooth round moderate plus. Ladies if you are having a hard time between two sizes, go with the larger cc. If you haven't heard of boob greed, it is so real. I feel like I could have gone bigger lol. Anyways, surgery day went well, woke up very excited to have some boobs. My chest was very tight. No pain just uncomfortable. Day 2 & 3 had slight pain and a lot of discomfort feeling. I felt like there was a heavy piece of flat board on my chest. I took the pain med given but too strong (made me nauseous) so I replaced it with tylenol extra strength. I am one month post op and my recovery couldn't have gone any better. My boobs have dropped slightly and becoming a bit soft. My chest doesn't feel as stiff and I can move my arms as normal just dont lift or pull anything too heavy. I apply merderma oil all over my boobs plus the scar to avoid stretch marks and to help the scar heal. At my one mo post op, Dr. M recommends me to take vit e to help with capsular contracture, showed me massaging techniques, and that i'm free to wear whatever bra i find comfortable even under wired bras :) So far I am loving my results, I cant wait for the drop and fluff stage. Patience is key from what Ive been reading. However, Dr. M did an awesome job since my recovery is going so well.

For years I was unhappy with myself. I was looking for a reputable plastic surgeon in The Sacramento area. And came across Dr. Mabourakh's Folsom Plastic Surgery office. I read the reviews and scheduled for a consultation appointment. I knew my search was over after personally meeting with Dr. Mabourakh. He took his time and listened to my health history, my needs and wants. He explained the Brazilian butt lift procedure in detail and was straight forward with the results he could give me. His ethic and professionalism are amazing. I felt I could trust him and scheduled for surgery in the next few days. surgery went well and I am very happy with the results. This was a procedure I was terrified to do. It changed my body competely, and gave me the confidence in myself , for the better! I look better and feel better. Dr. Mabourakh was very nice and genuinely interested in what was best for me and listened well to my concerns. His staff and himself patiently answered all of my questions and we very welcoming. I couldn't be happier with the over all experience. The staff is absolutely amazing, from the front desk, doctors, nurses... Anyone and everyone I encountered. Thank you all!

Dr. Mabourakh and his team did an amazing job! They are beyond fantastic! I've spoke with other surgeons in the area but I felt as though they couldn't give me what I wanted and I felt as though I couldn't trust them. So when I came across Dr. Mabourakh I read up on his reviews and reviewed his work. Later that day I made an appt with Maggie to come in. Immediately, his staff greeted me and me feel like I was right at home. When I met Dr. Mabourakh, he greeted me with a huge smile and firm handshake and asked me what did I WANT from this. I told him my main goals were to have nice full, perky D cup breasts and that I wanted them to look natural. I came to Dr. Mabourakh with barley an A cup and after some answering some more questions and me asking a whole bunch more, he assured me what I wanted was accomplishable and that I would be thrilled. Let me just say this now, that was a total a lie. I woke up from the surgery in pure awe and HAPPINESS! I've never felt more confident, feminine and just beautiful. But when I arrived to his Folsom center for surgery I must say I was even more impressed and more at ease. The facility was impeccably clean, the staff was super friendly with such soft voices and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Recovering from surgery was easy! I took a week off from work only but I was moving around enough to get a pedicure 3 days after surgery. As long as you take the medicine as prescribed and follow Dr. Mabourakh's orders you will be just fine. I went from A32 wearing lose around my breasts to a nice, full, natural looking D36 at Victoria secrets ;) thank you so much to Dr. Mabourakh and his fab team!

At age 11 I was an early bloomer, developing breasts before most of the other girls in my class. Suddenly I was surpassed by a long shot, and over the years there was little growth from my early bloomers. I hated my breasts for too long until I decided to do something about it. From age 13 I've wanted and planned to have breast augmentation. And after years of saving I've finally claimed these amazing breasts and a whole new level of confidence, in and out of clothes.

Upon arriving at the Folsom Plastic Surgery and Laser Center for my Breast Augmentation, I was taken care of right away. The first thing they had me do was give a urine sample to ensure that I was not pregnant. Then I was brought back to a room where I was asked to remove all my clothes and put on a surgical cap, gown and socks. While I waited for my nurse I watched a peaceful documentary of the ocean. The nurse came in to hook up my IV, I wasn't exactly happy with my nurse as she tried 6 times to hook me up and failed. I was so relieved when Dr. Mabourakh came in and set up my IV quickly and painlessly. Before he left the room he assured me that the anaesthesiologist would be in shorty. Dr. Herrman was the anaesthesiologist scheduled for my surgery, I would suggest to others to request him as their anaesthesiologist because he is so fantastic. I was feeling a little nervous when he entered my room because of all the times I had been stuck by my nurse, and he could sense my anxiety and gave me some medicine through my IV to help. He was very kind and funny, when it was time to bring me to surgery he was by my side along with Gina, Dr. Mabourakh's assistant. Gina and Dr. Herrmann were wonderful and treated me so well while I was being prepped for surgery. Gina cracked a couple jokes and made me laugh so much. It was nice to be so at ease before surgery. When it was time to be put to sleep Dr. Herrmann set a scene for me to fall asleep to. He told me to imagine I was on a beach and the water was barely touching my toes going back and forth. Gina told me when I wake up I'll have the perfect boobs for a bikini on that beach. And just like that I was out. When I woke up it felt like no time had passed, I also woke up very comfortable and pain-free. I looked down and couldn't believe my eyes, I had two large lovely lumps protruding from my chest. I couldn't stop smiling. The nurse helped me get back into my clothes and wheeled me out to my car where my boyfriend was waiting for me. Before I had even woke up the staff had given him all the information he needed to take care of me.
I'm so happy with my experience with Dr. Mabourakh and his staff. Dr. Mabourakh is a very skilled and gentle surgeon, I had no bruising whatsoever and was comfortable through out my recovery. I was able to stop using my pain medications before I even ran out.
I am also very impressed with how thorough my after care is. 4 days after my surgery, Dr. Mabourakh checked my incisions and snipped the ends of my stitches off. Then at exactly one month post operation I had another appointment where he showed me how to properly massage my implants to help them drop and soften. I have another follow up appointment in march. Dr. Mabourakh and his staff genuinely care about their patients before and after surgery. It is impressive how thorough they are with checking up on patients after surgery. I highly recommend that anyone in the Folsom/Sacramento area looking to have any cosmetic procedure to come have a consultation with Dr. Mabourakh.

Dr. Mabourakh and everyone who works at Folsom plastic surgery center is fantastic! They are all patient, helpful, and informative. I am eighteen years old and was really nervous but they all told me exactly what to expect and answered every question that I had, before and after the surgery. I highly recommend them and am so happy with how it turned out!
