Rhinoplasty/Sliding Genioplasty

Dr. Lee performed rhinoplasty and sliding genioplasty at the same on 2/20/24. The recovery process is a little tough and I know that I still have long ways to go in terms of healing. I currently on day 23 post op and I am loving my results so far. Dr. Lee and his staff are wonderful and I will not hesitate to come back again at Enhance Medical for future procedures.

He fixed my nose and made it fit me perfectly!

I need to caveat this by saying that I had a VERY difficult rhinoplasty case with every complication you can imagine, so I received a ton of care from Dr. Lee - not every patient would need this level of aftercare but I'm writing this review to share that Dr. Lee is the type of doctor will go the extra mile for every patient that needs it and I am so grateful that I chose him as my plastic...

Great Service, Quick Replies from Dr Lee, Very Nice Staff

I checked around to a few plastic surgeons, and all of them (EXCEPT DR LEE) were either slow or did not reply to my emails. Dr Lee personally replied to my emails within the day. His staff is great to work with. They took the time to answer my questions and were very nice about it. I knew that being a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon for many years Dr Lee would have the experience to do a great...

Great consult

After my surgeon stole photos of Dr. Charles, I got in touch with Charles. Charles has beautiful before and after photos! I understand why a Dutch surgeon would steal from him because this treatment isn't performed often in the Netherlands. Since I don't live in America, I had a video consultation. He is a very kind, helpful, and patient doctor. The video consultation went great! He...

Fast forward 12 months, and I LOVE my results!

I was looking for a surgeon to fix my nose after a failed primary rhinoplasty, I looked for 8 years, in different countries, and I just couldn't go ahead with it, I couldn't trust any surgeon to touch my face for fear it will also fail. I had my consultation with Dr Lee, and as soon as I sat down with him, I felt a huge relief, he understood all of my concerns and my anxiety turned into...

Q: Do I have ptosis in my left eye? (photos)
Answered by Dr. LeeJanuary 19, 2023

A: Hello I believe it can be fixed. Your left eye might has ptosis causing the asymmetry. Give us a call at 310.271.5954 or text at 310-779-5488 to book a consultation!

Q: Best angles to evaluate the results in rhinoplasty before and after photos?
Answered by Dr. LeeJanuary 17, 2022

A: Hi, Thank you for your inquiry. What I find with side pictures is that oftentimes patients are looking for subtle changes mostly to the height of their nose or a more defined tip which is not as easy to see from the frontal view.

Q: Is it possible for me to get Adrian Lima's eye shape? (photos)
Answered by Dr. LeeFebruary 12, 2020

A: The exotic upward slant to the eye area is accomplished by a combination of lateral canthopexy, in which the outside corner of the eyes are attached to a higher position along the eye socket. To prevent crowding in this outer area, a temple lift is performed at the same time in order to create the outer area "sweep".

Q: One eye is more hooded and droopy than the other. What options are available to correct this?
Answered by Dr. LeeFebruary 4, 2020

A: The left eye muscle is not opening as well as the right side - this is corrected by reinserting the muscle more tightly to the lid cartilage. Your brows will descend as a result of this surgery, since your brows will not need to pull so much to help the eyes see better. The drop will occur over both eyes. Hence, the excess skin should be done on both eyes, in anticipation of the brow descent. If you like the current position of the brows, then a brow suspension will need to be performed to prevent the brow descent.

Q: Is there a superior suture material and technique for better upper blepharoplasty results?
Answered by Dr. LeeJanuary 13, 2020

A: On patient with thin skin, typically Northern European background, a buried running suture can work well. For other ethnicities with somewhat thicker skin, I prefer a combination of interrupted and running sutures. Interrupted sutures give a more precise closure but are tedious (and tender) to remove, so a running is combined to reduce the need for interrupteds that run full length.
