Dr Parson and his complete staff are wonderful, kind, respectful & knowledgeable from the moment you walk in the door. Dr Parson personally called after surgery that eve to check in. That speaks volume to his commitment to his patients. I am so pleased with my results and decision to go with Dr Parson.
I went to the office of Dr. Shaun Parsons in Scottsdale, AZ and met with Char for a consultation on what she could do to freshen my skin, reduce the fine lines and wrinkles and what could be done with surgical scarring on my neck. I have seen Char in the past for filler in my lips and Botox between my eyes and a very fine line on my forehead and her amazing facials. Let me tell you, not only is Char friendly and personable, she’s very knowledgable and educated in her profession AND she is a perfectionist and loves what she does. These are all things I believe to be important when choosing someone that’s going to be injecting Botox and fillers and using a laser on my face. Char recommended CO2 treatment and doing a combination of surface and deep layer procedure. They provided me with a prescription for two Valium and pain killers for the procedure. Today, two days later, Char did my procedure. I was a bit anxious when I first arrived, not about the procedure, it was the thought of taking the Valium. I am hyper-sensitive to any type of muscle relaxers, anxiety meds, opioids etc., they cause me to get horribly sick. Char was very kind and sweet and said it was okay if I didn’t want to take it. She said if I couldn’t tolerate it, we could pause to put a Valium under my tongue to kick in before we proceeded further. Char put a numbing cream on me for an hour and then she started the procedure. I’m not sure what type or brand of numbing cream it was, but I was so numb I literally felt nothing!! Char was done within an hour, I was a bit puffy when I looked in the mirror and definitely very red. I’m originally from the Midwest, I sent a picture to my boyfriend and in his words, “if anyone should call you a red neck this week, there’s no way around trying to deny it!’ He’s right, I can’t deny it when looking at the pics. The majority of the reviews I have red (haha) mention how bad the burning was for about 4-6 hours after the procedure. I didn’t feel like I had that really bad sunburn pain others seem to experience; it felt like some had put menthol all over my face and neck, like Icy Hot, with more Icy than Hot. It’s been four hours since the procedure and that icy sensation has been gone for about three hours, I have not taken any pain relievers because I have zero pain and no itching. Everyone’s pain threshold is different, mine is on the higher side due to some neck/spine issues. I have a very low tolerance to cold but a high tolerance to heat, in fact I love heat. I’m one of those odd ducks that is in my element when it’s 115°!! I highly recommend the office of Dr. Shaun Parsons, and I feel so blessed to have found Char!! The entire staff is genuine, caring, and incredibly friendly. The whole office is warm and inviting and it’s very clean. The other thing that you will notice is the treatment rooms are not only a nice size, they are very well organized, rarely is there anything sitting out on the counters, everything is neatly tucked away in the cabinets. You will not be disappointed going to this practice!! Char, thank you so much for for being you and for your wonderful service and the care and concern you always show!! To all the Realselfers reading this, I will post more pics in the coming days as my healing progresses.
I am getting the procedure done on March 1st, and am hoping to be a large C, or a small D by the time everything is healed! Today I am a 34DDD or E, and I will be losing approximately 25-30lbs after procedure (not sure the effect this will have but I have lost 35lbs and my breast have not noticeably changed). Updated on 27 Feb 2017: These are my before pictures, will update with after photos and photos during healing for those of you who may be curious to my journey! I am getting the lollipop incision and hoping to reduce 2-3 sizes. Will fix Doctor information later > not letting me add properly on mobile Updated on 1 Mar 2017: I am pleasantly surprised at how little pain I have. I left the hospital and was well enough to go to a class. I'm not sure how much has been reduced, I put my old bra over and it almost fits perfectly still (I could get away with wearing it for sure but there is a very small space in the cup). If anyone has an idea of what size I'll be when the swelling goes down that'd be really appreciated. I know I shouldn't worry about sizes I'm just curious as to whether enough was taken! I have to say, from what I can see now they look great, we will see in due time I suppose.
