One implant was deflated and the other bottomed out. I couldn't get them replaced right away, so I asked Dr. Baker to deflate the other one. Turns out the other implant wasn't fully deflated! I had them both deflated and winded up with shriveled up raisins. This was about 9 months ago. So fast forward to replacing my implants. I thought that I would get a smaller implant, maybe 300 to 325cc's but the doctor said there is too much skin! I have just started working out again and big boobs do not fit with my lifestyle at all. If I could afford it I would have gotten a lift and small implants. Sigh.....I think 450cc's will be too big for me at 5'4 135lbs. Dr. Baker says that with my chest width I have to be a D. Updated on 12 Jan 2016: I have been looking at boobs 24/7. I think that I should stay busy and stop making myself crazy! Actually I don't think anyone knows exactly how you will look after surgery, because everyone is different. I 'm sure they have a general idea, but as I see from the gallery no two bodies are identical. I love my doctor, and have seen his beautiful work but there's only so much he can do. I don't expect miracles, especially at my age. I'm worried about not having enough tissue, and that's something that my surgeon can not help. I was hoping for smaller implants to not bottom out again! I also wanted silicone, but monetarily could not do it. I love the way silicone feels. Dr. Baker thinks I should get silicone, and since implants only last about 10-15 years my next ones with be silicone. Those will be my final ones! Updated on 14 Jan 2016: I've been reading about how to prepare yourself for surgery, and exercise even if it's one week before is the best thing you can do. I've been eating lots of oranges for vitamin C , spinach, yogurt, and multi vitamin. I'm trying! Lol Updated on 16 Jan 2016: Although I'm very healthy I always feel panicked when I go under. I hate the feeling, until they give me some I don't give a crap medicine. I have so much lose skin I hope my doc is able to get a halfway decent look. Not asking for perfection! I just want even nipples and to be able to have feeling in my nips! I trust my doc double board certified and knows his stuff. Dr. Baker in Dothan Alabama here's a shout out! Ha I'm nervous. Updated on 18 Jan 2016: 2 days leaving for Dothan Alabama, and the next day is surgery. I wonder if everyone gets this nervous? Arggggggg! Updated on 19 Jan 2016: I had a hard time finding larger tops that didn't make my bottom look big. Here we go again. Third set of implants. This is the end, as I am not doing this again. Now watch just because I said that, these suckers will last till I'm 77 :) I'm nervous because I haven't been keeping myself hydrated enough. I've been cleaning out my closet today. Updated on 21 Jan 2016: I've never recovered as well as I did this time. The SCOP patch helped so much. No nausea, and already feel nipples. I'm just a little sore. Updated on 21 Jan 2016: Dr. Baker in Dothan is awesome. Updated on 22 Jan 2016: I have been keeping ice on there a bunch. I can start massaging in 5 days. Updated on 23 Jan 2016: The pain medicine helped so much. I took it 4 hours after leaving the hospital as they gave me 2 pecocets before leaving the hospital. I drank so much water a few days before surgery, and tried to get a little exercise. I also took mutlivitamins. i thought that at my age 57, I would have a harder time, but I did't. I told my husband that I could probably drive the 3 hours home! He looked at me and said NO WAY! Dr. Baker is a great surgeon! If you take a look at my before photo....eeeek I hated my boobs. Updated on 26 Jan 2016: I am so happy that I went with a smaller size. You can't even notice until I take my top off! I'm the only one I have to please anyway, and I'm pleased! The bra I'm in now is 34 D, but I expect it will go down to a C. I'm so happy we didn't go to 450cc's! 350cc's was perfect. Photos soon. Updated on 28 Jan 2016: Just feeling a little sore today under the left breast. Funny the right one had a little blood through the bandage , but feels fine. I wish they would stay exactly like this! Haha but I know gravity will take over in a few weeks. I'm wearing a bra day and night! Updated on 29 Jan 2016: When I'm laying flat on my back they don't hurt but when I stand up the left side stitches hurt. Maybe it's just too soon? I can press on the other side and they don't hurt. I put a tighter bra on and it seems to help. Of all the things I was afraid of, I didn't think of this. I had to take something to sleep last night and now I feel like crap. I'm also moving next week, so I was packing some light boxes. Updated on 30 Jan 2016: I am moving in a few days! Ugh.... I found another bra that's more comfortable with cups. I've seen many articles about not wearing a sports bra that pushes your boobs together. My doctor said that if I can't drive the 4 hours to get stitches out that they would talk me through over the phone! Yikes! Lol my new roomate has been a nurse for a long time ....whewwww. Moving Wednesday driving 5 hours to Mississippi, and stitches out same day! Getting stitches out at 2 weeks. Updated on 31 Jan 2016: I had to pull myself up into my big truck holding on to the steering wheel. Ouch! I'm going to be driving for 5 hours on Thursday, so I thought I'd better practice. Well had to put ice on my boobs after driving for 30 minutes. I think it was more to do with the pulling myself into the drivers seat. I'm a shorty. Can't wait to get the stitches out. Still wearing bras 24/7, and boobs still look the same. The implants feel softer this time. They are not as swollen this time either. I wonder why? I can't wait to get to my new home and relax! I don't drink but I think I will have a huge glass of wine when I get to Mississippi! Updated on 3 Feb 2016: I took the steri strips off yesterday because they were bloody and ugly. After I took them off there were two long pieces of nylon stitches on each side, and man did that bother me! My quick fix? Kotex mini pads (sticky part on bra). Ahhhh much better. It wasn't 5 minutes after I took those little strips off that the stitches started bothering me. They were poking me, and hurting! I get them out tomorrow, so don't want to screw anything up! Bad move on my part DON'T DO IT! Photos tomorrow after stitches out!
