I had this treatment done last year by one of the largest Dermatology Practice in my City. I had been to this doctor several times about Roscea and he kept recommending the IPL procedure, promising a "slight sunburn effect" and healing within a few days. Wow was he wrong. The procedure turned my entire face into a giant bruise, as if someone had taken a baseball bat to me and beaten me severely. I immediately went back to him a few days later and all he could say was "gosh, not sure what happened". I considered suing but found I had signed away all rights to do that. For three weeks I dealt with severe bruising . A year later, absolutely no positive results from having that horrible procedure done.
