Dermal Fillers
Q I have marionette lines, lip lines, and wrinkles all at once! What's the best wrinkle fillers to get rid of these lines?
A

I    prefer Volbella, a Juvederm product for fine lines around the mouth. Vollure, another Juvederm product is amazing for lip augmentation and in the lower face. Vollure and Voluma XC are both excellent in the marionette lines.

Q Which filler is best for the treatment of under eye tear troughs?
A

For tear trough and mid cheek I    prefer to use Restylane products. They provide the most natural look and I    find higher patient satisfaction with this product in this area. For temples, upper face I    prefer Voluma XC, a Juvederm product and Vollure for lower face.

Q Filler seemed to create a downward look to my lips, can the product be removed? (Photos)
A

Hyaluronic acid fillers such as Juvederm, Volbella or Restylane can be dissolved. You will want to see a physician that is familiar with using hylenex, wydase and such. Too much can dissolve some of your natural fullness creating divots.

UltraShape
Q Will UltraShape or Velashape reduce flabbiness on the inner thigh area?
A

Ultrashape is used for the non-invasive reduction of fat. In our practice we use Ultrashape POWER and Velashape III together to yield a better overall result for the patient. Velashape will give some favorable results in tightening the skin. Patients are uniformly happy with results.

Botox
Q How Long Before Botox Results Can Be Seen?
A

Botox reached its peak at about one month. You will continue to see benefits for 3-4 months. Most patients in our Del Mar practice repeat their treatments 2-3 times a year. We have many patients that have been receiving Botox injections for 15 years or more.
