M.R. Khalifeh, MD started his practice in 2006, with the goal of offering the latest technology available in combination with advanced plastic surgery training to create a state of the art cosmetic surgery facility in the Washington DC area. We take each patient encounter as an opportunity to educate and advise our patients. About a year ago, after a very long process, I was finally diagnosed with type 3/stage 1 LIPEDEMA. I tried all conservative therapy and saw no results. I started looking for experienced surgeons that specialized in lymph sparing liposuction. Dr. Khalifeh was recommended to me, along with 3 other local plastic surgeons. This was an extremely satisfying experience!!! Everyone that helped with this process was very helpful and gracious. I felt apart of the entire process and I would recommend 10/10! Everyone in Dr. Khalifeh’s office is so kind and proficient. Dr. Khalifeh took his time with me discussing the procedure I wanted done. I asked him about other procedures and he didn’t feel it would make such a difference on my small frame- I respected that. He could have easily told me he could do it and I’d likely be disappointed with those results.
