Amazing! Words can't even describe how pleased I am with the results of the combination Botox and Diva therapy. I had lost hope...many failed procedures and complications from medications. Then I met with Dr. Coyle! My whole experience with Coyle Institute has been nothing but positive. Dealing with mixed incontinence resulting from my Parkinson's Disease and pelvic relaxation had been really difficult. I felt like an 80 year old woman. I was extremely limited in my activities and I even had to change my scrubs while on shift a couple of times! Embarrassing to say the least! Super duper pads and an extra set of panties was always in my brief case. Now I don't even have to worry about wearing a pad at all! Anxiety free! I can play tennis, go to the beach and even drink coffee and enjoy a glass of wine without worrying. I'm back to acting like my 54 years young! It's well worth the cost! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! Updated on 14 Sep 2018: Great experience very comfortable with the staff and Dr Coyle. I was very skeptical of having the deva done. Just couldn't believe it would help. I was encouraged by a very dear friend , to come to a Deva night and listen to how it could work for me. I no longer have to worry about wetting all over myself! That has improved at least 80%. My vaginal area is no longer dry and irritated all the time . So much more comfortable.
I am a 67 year old wife and mother of two children, and have been experiencing "leakage," as well as vaginal "ageing" for a while. It has been a while since I had a Gyn appointment, except for the pap smear. I just assumed the latter problem was something I had to live with. I'd tried estrogen treatments, but none were satisfactory and were withdrawn due to side effects. I was drawn to the Coyle Institute because of the breadth of service--both Urology and Gynecology--offered. I had no idea that breadth was even wider than what I anticipated. I'd never heard of the diVa Laser before I walked through the door. So, I made the appointment with Dr, Rogers to address my leakage issue. She took my history, examined me and explained different options in addressing the leakage problem. One of which was the diVa Laser Vaginal Therapy treatment. I literally had no idea such a treatment existed. Dr. Rogers explained that the laser treatment has been very effective in addressing the leaky bladder problem, but is not a treatment which is covered by insurance and is a bit expensive. With my husband sitting there, Dr. Rogers also explained that the treatment would offer us a renewed sex life, since the treatment would resurface the vaginal lining and restore both elasticity and lubrication. He asked the cost. She told him and his response was, "That's not too bad." Dr. Rogers could have tripled the cost and he would have likely said the same thing! He was sold and, truthfully, after the her explanation and the extensive vaginal exam Dr. Rogers performed, I was, too. So, we made the appointment to proceed. I went today for the first of three laser treatments. Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive, but Dr. Coyle and his nurse, Lisa, made sure I understood and was comfortable each step in the process. There was/is minor discomfort, but nothing that is a show stopper. A UTI or yeast infection is far more uncomfortable that what I am experiencing. There is some bleeding, but that is to be expected because of the dry and aged condition of the vagina. I'll post again after treatment #2. Stay tuned. Updated on 11 Mar 2018: I am pleased to report that I have had the second and third laser treatments and am very pleased with the outcome. Both vaginal health and the bladder leakage problems have shown marked improvement. As far as the procedures. There was slightly more discomfort after the second procedure than the first, but still not enough that it should be a deal-breaker for anyone. Again, there is much more discomfort with a UTI or a yeast infection than with the laser treatment. Discomfort after the third procedure was more along the lines of what I felt after the first procedure. The only complaint I can offer is that I wish I had known of this procedure many years ago. To be able to enjoy one of life's great pleasures (SEX) without estrogen/hormones--and the attendant risks--is GREAT! It's also worth every dollar spent. I highly recommend Dr. Coyle and his staff!!!
