I had Breast Implants for 35 years and I loved them! I originally had silicone and they ruptured after 22 years. They were replaced with saline implants and I had problems with encapsulation. I just never liked them as much as my original implants. After 13 years, I had a consultation with Dr. Kuhlman-Wood about what to do with my encapsulated breasts. At 64, it was time to replace them, but, the thought of having to replace them AGAIN in my 80’s was a big concern. We scheduled the surgery and, while I was waiting for my surgery date, I suddenly started having problems with my heart. It took a year and a couple of procedures to sort through my heart issues with my cardiologist. When I was finally healthy enough to proceed with this elective surgery, I was even more concerned about the future and how my health might prevent me from even having another surgery in my 80’s. Dr Kuhlman -Wood spent a great deal of time discussing my options. Instead of just taking my money and redoing my implants, she showed me how much of my own breast tissue that I actually have and strongly suggested that I not replace the implants. Instead, she removed the implants and did a breast lift. I am so surprised at how much breast tissue that I actually have (a nice perky C cup) and am comforted that I won’t have to endure any more breast surgeries. Dr Kuhlman-Wood clearly put my heath above her profit and I sincerely respect her for the honest feedback and advice that she gave me.

I started getting monthly facials over a year ago. I wish I had done this sooner but it's never too late to start if you're considering it. My most recent procedure was microdermabrasion. I like this procedure in the summer since I'm outside often and it's not so harsh as a chemical peel. I just turned 61! I made the decision to get serious about getting back into shape last January. I have worked very hard at the gym on a daily basis, and started eating right! It made a huge difference and in 3 months I had lost 15 pounds and gained a lot of muscle. However, at my age, there were things that I could not change even with hard work. Namingly, my breasts which were sagging (one lower than the other). After visiting with Dr. Kate Kuhlman-Wood, it was an easy decision to choose her to perform my surgery (breastlift on one side and implants). I had done a lot of research and quickly realized why Dr. Kate had received the award of "Best Plastic Surgeon in Idaho" four times in a row! She was friendly as well as matter of fact in her discussion and explanations. I knew I was in excellent hands! The surgery went better than I could ever hoped for! Her team was AMAZING! ALL OF THEM - 5 STAR! I now have the finishing touch that I needed to achieve the body that I desired to have once again! I can't thank Dr. Kate enough! I wholeheartedly recommend her! Ladies! I can't rave about my experience enough! I've been unhappy with my breasts since puberty (I'm 28). I had large, elongated breasts with nipples that basically pointed downwards. While I know everyone's body is different and I should learn to love the body I have, this made clothing fit weird and alienated me from a large portion of the clothing industry. It also affected my self-confidence in a big way. As the years went by, I tried dressing for my body and accepting my body the way it was. Eventually, I decided that something needed to change. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Kate and her team. They made me feel heard, validated, and optimistic about potential changes. She made recommendations that fit my body and expectations. The cost, procedure, and recovery process was clearly explained ahead of time. I'd be lying if I said this process didn't come with a wave of emotions. I was excited/happy for a long-awaited change, nervous/scared about major surgery, and embarrassed about needing/wanting the surgery altogether. This was definitely an emotional experience (and that's okay). The surgical team took very good care of me and things are healing as expected. I'm now able to wear all kinds of bras, tops, and dresses. I also love the way I look in the mirror and feel incredibly happy with my decision. I would definitely recommend this surgery and this surgeon to anyone considering it. You'd be in very capable hands!

I decided to use Coeur D Alene Plastic Surgery for my Cool Sculpting procedure of my upper arms. They were very professional from the beginning. I went in for my appointment at 1:00 pm Thursday afternoon and the procedure lasted until approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes 70 minutes on each arm which was the time they allowed for it from the beginning. I thought everything was going well. Everything went if without a hitch. Here is where the problem comes in. I paid 750.00 at my consultation and was told the other 750.00 would be charged at the time of the procedure. This is exactly what happened. I went to work this morning thinking everything was great. Coeur D Alene Plastic Surgery called me at approximately 9:30 this morning to inform me there was a problem with the charge to my card. I assumed the charge hadn’t gone through but then she informed me that since they had used 2 paddles on each arm it was double the cost and I owed them another 1500.00! I explained to her that I was not informed of this added charge at the time of the procedure. If I was I would NOT HAVE HAD IT DONE. I’m not sure where to go from here. I’m still very disappointed and confused frustrated!!! Updated on 6 Nov 2025: I first had Cool Sculpting at Coeur D Alene Plastic Surgery on 9/14/2023 and my upper arms actually got bigger. On 6/25/2025 I returned to Coeur D Alene Plastic surgery and Dr.Kate Kuhlman-Wood said it looked like paradoxical adipose hyperplasia caused by Cool Sculpting. On 8/6/2025 when I returned to her to see if we could do an upper arms lift she retracted her diagnosis of paradoxical adipose hyperplasia I’m guessing because she realized it was her practice that had performed it then actually told me I still owe her for the Cool Sculpting treatment she had done in 2023! This is not true and I still have the receipts to prove it. She then proceeded to tell me before she could do an arm lift I would have to go through a weight loss treatment at her facility using Smaglitude to the tune of about 2500.00$. I am not overweight! I am 5’6” and weigh 145 lbs.

I had severe encapsulations over my saline implants, so I had the removal of the scar tissues and new silicone, gummy bear implants. I was in a lot of pain from the scar tissue and my breast were not even.

Dr. Kuhlman-Wood is absolutely amazing. She’s caring, knowledgeable and has an awesome personality. She made me feel so comfortable and confident, especially after my procedure. Seeing my before and after pictures made me cry tears of joy. I can’t express how happy I am with my breast augmentation, and how thankful I am that I chose this office to take care of me through this journey. Everyone single person I interacted with throughout was wonderful! My surgery and recovery was also flawless.

My husband, (who comes kicking & whining - haha) and I, have been seeing Tina Gamblex for almost 2 years now. Tina has won my husband over with her humor & teasing while also maintaining a professional demeanor. Both of us are seeing much better complexions with Tina’s regular treatments of micro needling, micro dermabrasion &/or chemical peels. While there are other treatments available, we are thrilled to see brighter skin tones and the lightening or complete vanishing of age spots we’ve had for years. Tina noticed a pre cancer on my husband & touched that area with a little extra chemical peel along with insisting he see a dermatologist. The dermatologist said the pre cancer was no longer there and that the healing process a chemical peel encourages can frequently encourage the skin to heal itself! Remarkable!
