Tammy is very knowledgeable about her craft. Knowing a woman's face is an art. She knows what looks best on certain individuals and is not hesitant on telling them so. She is the most personable person. When I leave Tammy’s office I always love the result. Awesome staff!! Very informative and patient. This was my 2ND time to have plastic surgery. The 1st time the Dr (not to be named) deviated from our pre-op plan and when I awoke from surgery I was upset to find that what I received was not what I expected. Only 8 short years later, I began my search for a Dr to correct the problems from my initial augmention and perform a full mommy makeover. Enter Dr. Ciaravino!!! He did a beautiful job. I'm only 3 weeks out from surgery but everyday the results get better and better. He took additional time with me in the OR to make sure the results I wanted were exactly what I received. The after care I have received from Dr Ciaravino & his staff is amazing. If I undergo any other types of cosmetic procedures be it Botox, Cool-Sculpting, surgery or simply a facial I will heading straight to Dr Ciaravino's office. It's been such an awesome experience for me. Thank you to everyone at Ciaravino Total Beauty!!!!
Thank you for your question as well as sharing your photos. I can't imagine how uncomfortable you must be from your breasts. I frequently have performed breast reductions in young patients, even under the age of 18, in order to relieve their symptoms from large breasts. Usually breast growth should be stabilized prior to breast reduction surgery in order to reduce the need for re-operation, but if your symptoms are this severe and your breast growth does not demonstrate any decrease in the rate of growth, it may still be important for you to be evaluated to discuss your options. I hope this is helpful, Dr. Mohan.
It is definitely possible to reduce patients' breast size greatly during a breast reduction. In fact breast reduction is one of the most satisfying procedures that plastic surgeons perform because of the significant relief of symptoms patients' achieve after the procedure. I always counsel my patients that our goal is to achieve a pleasing breast shape and size which is proportional to their body frame, and so if you were a ~B cup size previously, we can certainly work towards this goal. We also always want to perform your surgical safely with attention to the blood supply to your nipples.
I’m sorry to hear about your hair loss! Surgery can create a state of stress for the body, which can lead to effects like changes in hair growth. In most instances this hair loss is only temporary and should resolve with time. This also depends if the hair loss in global or in specific areas where your incisions were placed. Hair loss in areas of the incisions can be typical after surgery, but should also improve with time. If it has been greater than ~6 months since your procedure, it may be time to consult your surgeon or another physician regarding this to make sure there isn’t something else going on!
I agree that it is definitely very early postoperatively to see full results. My only concern with wearing a waist trainer so early on after surgery is the risk of the trainer creating creases and contour indentations through the effect of compression in certain areas over others. In fact, I usually tell all my patients to avoid tight fitting clothing/jeans for a full 3 months after surgery in order to reduce the risk of these permanent contour changes.
Liposuction causes different degrees of skin retraction (or skin tightening) in patients, and so it is possible that you may notice some shrinkage of a tattoo following the procedure. This would depend on where the tattoo is located and also heavily on the individual as skin tightening is difficult to predict preoperatively.
