I have struggled with my inner thighs through pregnancies and weight changes. I finally am at a place where I wanted a change. I went to Calobrace Spa for a consultation and booked a combo treatment of coolsculpting and thermismooth. Today was my first treatment and we started with the coolsculpting. Brooke is an esthetician and a bodycontouring expert. She explained how using the combination of the coolsculpting followed up by several thermismooth treatments will give me the results I am going for. I had larger pockets of fat on my upper inner thighs. These should be reduced by the coolsculpting. Today was my first time for coolsculpting. I arrived and got comfortable on the table, she propped up my leg and did one at a time. She applied a cool gel pad, like a giant sticky cold pad on the area that the applicator would be on. The applicator goes on and a light suction along with a cool sensation. I didn't find it bothersome at all. She explained that the suction can be felt more intense on the stomach. Each thigh was treated for 35 minutes. Afterward she massaged the area for a few minutes and instructed me to do at home similar massage for next couple days. I left the office and had no pain. Now several hours later the area is sensitive to touch. Will update as coolsculpting takes approximately 6 weeks to see results sometimes a little longer. I am scheduled for my first thermismooth in three weeks.
This was a miracle. It took away almost all of my sun damage on my chest in just three sessions. I feel like a new person. 100% worth it. I will continue to get these as maintenance now. I was so self-conscious of my sun damage before.
I had coolsculpting done yesterday afternoon. I am so excited to see what happens to my body in the next month. Okay, so I have to be honest. I read hundreds of reviews before getting this procedure done and I really didn't consider that the "no downtime" claim doesn't exactly indicate "no pain" post-procedure. I'm extremely swollen in my lower abdomen and the entire sensation is unlike anything you can expect or prepare yourself for. It is literally a numb, protruding extension of yourself! Kind of crazy! The area is tender to the touch and feels like a throbbing, frostbite pain when bending over, etc. I took Ibuprofen in between my 2 treatments and just took some more this morning. I had two applicators on for one cycle each on each side. For the first hour I did my left back flank and right diagonal lower abdomen, and vice versa for the second hour. The angle was the most uncomfortable part and something I wasn't prepared for. Also, as other reviews have mentioned, the applicators and suction are heavy and forceful. I had my technician push the machine closer to help balance the flank applicator on my side. Taking off the first (lower diagonal abdomen) applicator was fine. The massage was fine. However, a minute after removing the applicator I felt extremely nauseous. I couldn't wait to get the flank applicator off so I could sit-up and get some cold ice water. 5 minutes later she removed the second applicator. I had to rush to the bathroom and actually got sick. 15 minutes later, after throwing up, getting the sweats, and downing 3 glasses of ice water, I finally felt better. I surprisingly had a similar experience after removing the applicators on the opposite side an hour later. It felt a lot like how I get sick after giving blood samples for testing at the doctors office. It's been about 16 hours since finishing the treatment. If I had only done the treatment on my flanks, I feel like I would have been able to go to the gym after the procedure. However, the abdomen is such an extremely sensitive area and felt such an uncomfortable and unusual sensation that I really didn't felt up to doing anything. I have a light compression waist garment on and it has helped me feel more secure. I plan on going to the gym today and doing cardio, weights, and stretching, and will 100% use a waist trainer or two to feel the most comfortable. All in all, I'm so excited about the treatment. I was not expecting the post-treatment pain and swelling but I'm embracing it! I will be fasting 6/1 for the next 30 days and following it with a VLCD for 90+ days after. I will update and let you know my results! Updated on 14 Jun 2016: Compression garments, prescription strength topical numbing cream, Tylenol, and the couch (versus the treadmill) have been my best friends over the past 10 days. On day eight everything improved in terms of pain and swelling. Today I am going to start to hone in on my diet and begin running and sprints again. I was able to do Bootcamp classes last week however the swelling and pain interfered with some of the plyometrics moves. I was able to do ab movements on Day 7 and contract the muscles, which was nice. Today (day 9.5/10) will be my first day back to more intense cardio and lifting. It should be noted that I still cannot do burpees without my stomach hurting (simply from hitting the ground). I have doubled up on compression garments in the past 4 days when working out. It helped. Also, I've alternated putting the compression garment over my workout pants or under. I would suggest doing upper body lifting, toning leg lifts on a mat, and long power walks (with compression garments) during the first week. It is not a reasonable claim that patients can go straight to the gym following the treatment. I tried that and was extremely nauseous. In terms of my results, I am just starting to pay attention to the external factors and getting back to my diet and fitness, so I think by day 30 I will see good results of both the treatment, HIIT workouts, and just a low carb, calorie, sugar, and salt diet. I think if I am going to do a second treatment in the near future, I will do my flanks again. The lower stomach was and has been very painful and disruptive to my routine. So I think observing the full results of the initial treatment to that area, in addition to strict diet and exercise, will come before I pay more for that area.
Had a morpheus8 treatment back in December 2023 ..Ashely Hatfield is the head cordinator at this facilty and has many facial awards and she was the provider that done the morpheus8 procedure on me & she severely damaged my face causing extensive facial fat loss & causing both sides of my face to cave in & caused trama to my right eye..where the needle depth she used was for the butt & thighs ..the needle depth that was used was 2.6 , that's what I was told , but when I called inmode they told me that the morpheus8 machine doesn't come in half depths..so the plastic surgeons I've talked to tells me by my photos that she's used either a 3mm or either a 4mm where half my face was melted
