After having my first breast augmentation at 19, nearly four decades later it was time for an update. I still felt my original implants were fine—until a recent chest CT scan revealed both had ruptured. That’s when I turned to Dr. Brian Buinewicz, a triple board-certified plastic surgeon known for his expertise in breast implant removal and complex capsulectomies. From my very first consultation, I knew I was in excellent hands. Dr. Buinewicz clearly explained every detail of my situation and recommended removal based on the imaging findings. During surgery, he not only replaced the ruptured implants but also removed two thick, calcified capsules and residual silicone. He then placed new Natrelle Inspira implants that are beautifully proportioned to my frame—soft, natural, and better than I could have imagined. Dr. B’s professionalism, warmth and compassion truly set him apart. His bedside manner is exceptional—he genuinely cares about your comfort and progress. He personally checks in after surgery by phone and email, and his detailed aftercare instructions made recovery smooth and reassuring. The office Staff is very supportive, kind and knowledgeable... Although I’m still less than a week post-op, I’m already thrilled with how beautiful and natural my new breasts look. The entire experience—from consultation to follow-up—has been outstanding. I had a very pleasant experience with Dr. Buinewicz. My body was rejecting my breast implants for 13 years and they were making me very ill. Dr. Buinewicz removed both implants and did a full lift. He was very professional and empathetic every time I met with him. I am extremely pleased with my results and I'm much healthier after my explant. I must also add that I love his staff! All the girls that work at his office are so warm and caring like him. I live over an hour away from his office but after much research, reviews and meeting him for the first time, I had no reservations about choosing him to do my explant surgery. He made me feel so comfortable and relaxed before, during and after! I highly recommend Dr. Buinewicz! He is a wonderful person, very caring and a Doctor of integrity!

anyone thinking of getting implants or contemplating keeping them in, this is critical these things are so toxic and are slowly killing you! You may think it’s something else. Get them out and you will see. No more chest pain , no more shortness of breath. I am gonna make it a goal to get women to change their minds!!! Do not get breast implants!!!

I initially was only considering doing a breast reduction due fibrocystic disease and heavy pendulous breasts, but I wanted to find out a little more about also doing abdominoplasty and diastasis repair. I had a consultation with a different surgeon but didn't feel completely at ease. My consultation with Dr. Buinewicz was quick and he answered all my questions and I felt comfortable. They offered a descent price to do all the procedures together and my only hesitation was that it was outpatient at the surgery center. From encouragement and talking with others who have had the procedure on different forums I decided to book. I had breast lift/reduction, abdominoplasty and muscle repair completed without problems. I'm not going to say recovery was a piece of cake, but it was as expected just as he informed me each step of the way. I had a few minor set backs but nothing that is completely out of the ordinary. I am 100% happy that I did this surgery and would recommend anyone on the fence to jump over and go for it. I have to say the Dr. Buinewicz is one of the best surgeons I have been cared for by and his staff is also wonderful and always friendly. I was called everyday after surgery for the first week to check on my progress, Dr. B provided his cell phone and was easily reachable and still continues to be reachable if I have questions or concerns. His follow up care is wonderful and he is generally concerned that his patient's have a good outcome and are happy with their procedure. I would give Dr. B and his staff 100 stars if I could!

If you have breast implant illness, are looking for a compassionate, highly skilled Doctor with an excellent patient bedside manner who believes & is extremely knowledgeable in BII, then Dr. Buinewicz & his excellent staff, is your number 1 choice. A couple of months ago I had my implants explanted via en bloc with capsulectomies & a breast lift. I began the healing process & feel much better compared to the last several years. My health continues to improve daily! I had breast implants for 15 years, with an implant replacement 2 years ago. After the revision, my health continued to deteriorate. I was diagnosed with several diseases. I realized that my symptoms were attributed by the toxicity of my implants & began researching. During my initial consultation with Dr.B, I knew instantly that he would be my surgeon! None of the surgeons I consulted with came close to Dr.B. He is the best & humbled physician I have ever had. Dr.B’s staff is also superb. Chrissy, all of the nurses including Lori, Bethany & Alicia are also humble, very caring, helpful, knowledgeable & empathetic to my needs. I also had the opportunity to meet Dr. Annie & she is such a lovely kind doctor. I couldn’t be happier with my decision, my aesthetic results & only wished I had this life changing surgery sooner. Not going to sugar coat it - a TT with MR & Lipo is a rough surgery, but seeing this makes it all worth it. I'm excited to share my further progress in the upcoming weeks. Dr B is the absolute best. He made me feel comfortable, answered all my questions before & after and has incredible bedside manner! Updated on 21 Jul 2021: From the consultation to post op, his bedside manner is amazing. He listens, cares and I am extremely pleased with my tummy tuck. I will be scheduling an explant and breast lift soon as well. *pics are 3 weeks post op Updated on 27 Jul 2021: I’m feeling much better. Just a lot of soreness from the muscle repair and swelling. My experience with Doc B was nothing short of amazing. Learning my breast implants could possibly be the cause of all my ailments was like getting the wind knocked out me over and over. This was a VERY difficult pill to swallow but once I learned of BII (breast implant illness) and the recall of my implants due to cancer, I just knew I had to take the chance and remove them in hopes that I could recover some of my health. Finding a surgeon who believes in BII, who believes in the thousands of us stating daily that “we feel like we are dying”, that is a difficult task to undertake. I am so extremely grateful that Doc B was so close by to me and is a firm believer in BII, and supports us 1000%. This man knows compassion, he is compassion. You can actually feel the level of understanding he has when it comes to knowing what we are going through. He will hold your hand as you are gently put to sleep by the anesthesiologist. What doctor does this?? Never one that I have met, most aren’t even in the OR at that point. He is such a humble, caring, professional man and I am so very thankful he saved my life the way he did. I am eternally grateful.

I received a Sofwave treatment with Dr. Anna Buinewicz to address concerns with fine lines around my mouth and jawline. She listened to all of my concerns, talked to me about my desired results, assessed my skin and guided to me treat the areas that would be best benefited by Sofwave. She also helped me create a plan for maintenance and follow up care as well as identifying potential next steps to reach my goals. For the procedure itself, a cool and soothing topical numbing cream was applied to the treatment and surrounding areas. I sat and relaxed while the numbing cream did it’s job, and then Dr. Anna started the treatment. She did one quick test area to allow me to 1) feel the sensation of the ultrasound 2) decide if I wanted to sit with the cream on longer. I chose to move forward with the rest of the treatment which went quickly. The sensation of the ultrasound isn’t like a gentle massage at a spa, but the feeling comes and goes just as quickly as you initially feel it. There is a very awesome cooling feeling that quickly follows the pulse of the ultrasound. Now that feeling IS like a relaxing spa treatment! The combination made the overall treatment easy to get through, and left my skin feeling refreshed. If you are someone with a low threshold for any kind of physical discomfort I’d recommend speaking with your physician so you can schedule a longer amount of time to sit with your numbing cream. If you can’t, don’t worry! I felt like I was only receiving the ultrasound for 10 minutes at most with only 1-2 seconds every minute or so of actually being able to feel the pulse. I had no redness, discomfort or irritation afterwards. I was able to feel an ongoing cooling sensation which I actually quite enjoyed. It was 100% worth it thus far, and would be willing to say I’d do it again if Sofwave wasn’t a single treatment procedure.

Great experience having my 18-year-old, saline, sub-muscular breast implants removed with local anesthesia in his office. Would highly recommend him (and, as a matter of fact, I already have recommended him to several people). The office was lovely, and they had good pandemic safety protocols in place.

If you could imagine all the qualities you could possibly ask for in a doctor, Dr. B is all of that and more!! Attentive, caring, understanding, knowledgeable, the list goes on. I found him somewhere online as a doctor that acknowledges breast implant illness but I found out quickly after my consultation that he not only acknowledges it but is basically a specialist in that realm (amongst many other things) so I knew right away I would have my explant by him, no hesitation, no doctor shopping and I couldn’t have been more thankful for finding him and making that decision.  I’m about 4 months post-op and I can’t even begin to describe how much has physically changed for me and that’s not even including how amazing I’m healing from surgery. My health has dramatically improved and I know that’s partially from my body healing itself but I also credit Dr. Bs care for just how well everything is healing. Because I have so much trust in him I’ve also had some filler done by him which also exceeded my expectations.  I’ve had filler done before and was left with it injected in a slightly wrong area which made it look imbalanced but right off the bat Dr. B listened and got it in the right area, perfectly first shot, and to think I could have had him do it all before I ever had anything done, ya live and learn but that proves to me that Dr. B is the one-stop-shop of your dreams. So thankful for him and everything he’s done for me since meeting him!! 11/10 and also 11/10 staff, the sweetest, most helpful ladies!
