As your surgeon, I will make sure I understand your intent before I map out a detailed plan for your procedure. My aim will be to work with you to realize your unique vision in a safe and elegant manner.
After three children, and increasing discomfort, I decided to pursue this procedure. My surgery was yesterday- I'll provide updates as my recovery progresses. The procedure itself was painless. Swelling and pain so far is manageable. Updated on 10 Feb 2021: Things are much better today. I slept well last night after only taking Tylenol. I’m still very swollen and I am restricting my movement, but discomfort is minimal at this point! Updated on 14 Feb 2021: I still have significant swelling, but I am able to get around fine and have resumed daily activities with the exception of exercise. The worst side effect currently is the itching! It kept me awake last night.
My experience with Beleza Plastic Surgery has been amazing. Dr. Wooten and her staff have all been great. Dr. Wooten first listens to what goals that you have in mind and then very thoroughly explains to you what options you have. She's very straightforward in telling you what can and cannot be achieved based on your anatomy, but is very friendly. Her patient coordinator Andrea is one of the nicest people I've ever met and truly cares about the well being of the patient. I just love her! Dr Wooten's nurse, Tabitha is great too! The women up front are also very friendly and quick to call back if your call is missed. Honestly I couldn't not expect better service anywhere. Literally everyone you come in contact with there is great. I don't think I've ever had that in any professional setting before. Updated on 23 Oct 2018: I had a lollipop lift with 415cc Sientra moderate plus implants with Galaflex Mesh. I had surgery on October 12. I arrived at the surgery center at 6am and was under by around 7:30 am. I was on my way home by about 2:00 pm. Waking up was a little rough. I was super tired and kept wanting to fall back asleep. There was tightness on my chest but no pain really. During surgery they did the 72 h ok ur exparel injection to help with post op pain so I think that helped. I was advised not to shower or removed my bandages until 48 hours after surgery and that I would be wearing my surgical bra for 6 weeks. I struggled eating after surgery the first day due to my throat muscles not functioning properly from the breathing tube. I am attaching my pre op pictures. Updated on 23 Oct 2018: Very tight and swollen. Tons of pressure and muscles are stiff but almost 0 pain! I've had no drainage from my incisions. I took my first shower today which was very challenging. I've been exhausted and have slept on and off since surgery. Updated on 23 Oct 2018: Up and moving around a little better now but my appetite has been out of control.. I am eating almost every 2 hours and feel like a bottomless pit. Still no pain but still very tight have tons of pressure. Updated on 25 Oct 2018: I had my first post op appointment 2 days ago (1 week post) My PS said everything looks good and my steristrips were changed. I go back in two weeks. I'm starting to see some significant changing in my breasts and they are starting to get a better shape. I'm very excited for more changes to come. Updated on 14 Dec 2018: Im starting to feel pretty normal for the most part. Little aches and zingers here and there on the outside of my breasts near my armpits... Still no feeling in my right nipple.. I hope it eventually comes back but if not the surgery was still definitely worth it. One of my breasts is lagging behind a little on drop and fluff. It's not as rounded out as the other and up a tiny bit higher . I know I've still got plenty of time ahead of me though for final results. Updated on 21 Feb 2019: Feeling pretty good overall but kind of having a love/hate relationship with how they're currently looking. I feel like they're dropping quicker than I expected, especially with having the internal mesh bra. I feel like they look smaller and not as full as they did. Maybe I'm just being too hard on myself but I'm hoping there are more changes to come and they fluff more. I have a lumpy feel on the outside of one of my breasts that is kind of concerning me as well but think it may be my implant that I'm feeling. Going to give it time to see how things change. Overall I'm still 100 times happier than I was before. I've actually gotten back into working out to try and work some of this post op weight back off so and I have had no discomfort in my chest.
