I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review just so it would be an accurate and fair assessment after sufficiently healing. I had my procedure at the end of summer 2023. I had two c-sections several years ago and was left with a c-section shelf of mainly loose skin. Two years after my last pregnancy I visited a couple other doctors who recommended I have a full tummy tuck. I do have abdominal separation but I have stayed fit and could always suck in to look flat so I didn't want to go through a full tummy tuck; I'm petite (I stay at or below 110lbs) and did not want the long scar or a rebuilt belly button over some loose skin. I accepted the fact that I would just have this awful shelf that I hated for life. Over the summer of 2023 I stumbled upon Dr B's IG page and then saw on his website that he performed mini/"skin only" tucks. I booked a consult and was so pleased when he agreed with me that I could just have a mini panniculectomy (skin only tuck). He was frank with me but also said he wasn't going to sell me on a full tummy tuck if I could get improvement with just the lower skin/fat removal. Dr. B is soft spoken but matter of fact which I appreciate. My results aren't out of this world because I didn't get any abdominal repair, but I look a gazillion times better. Now I can wear form fitting clothes without worrying about that shelf showing. Additionally my scar is lower and better looking than my old c-section scar! I went into this wanting a contour improvement not a bikini ready body, but I'm actually now comfortable wearing a bikini again. Strangely enough, whatever he did when he excised the skin below my belly button, seems to have made my entire abdominal area tighter and look better not just the area under my belly button. Additionally the ladies who work here are fabulous. I now visit Donna for my other skincare treatments and needs. She's fantastic as well. With the above being said: I recommend Dr. Banerji. One of the most important things I felt when I met Dr B, was that if something went wrong, he'd care enough to try to make it right. Many surgeons have a God like complex and major egos; Dr B is a genuinely nice man who happens to be a great surgeon.
