Dr. Dragotti was my Surgeon and he left the practice I underwent a mastopexy (breast lift) with augmentation at Athenix (Bellevue) in March 2023 and did not achieve the lift outcome I paid for. Follow-up imaging later confirmed implant malposition, which required a revision procedure in June 2025. I incurred additional out-of-pocket costs for that revision, including anesthesia. After the revision, the intended outcome still was not achieved. I continued to experience lack of lift and was left with additional excess skin that was not present before. Over the following months, I made repeated attempts to address this through the office and patient portal. My concerns were consistently attributed to general factors like tissue quality, gravity, or weight rather than being addressed as an unresolved surgical result. I requested formal review multiple times and experienced delays and lack of response, at times going weeks to months without meaningful follow-up. After escalating outside the local office, I finally received a response acknowledging that further surgery would be required. However, instead of resolving the issue, I was presented with new options requiring additional payment in the range of $3,000–$3,700, including revision and anesthesia fees, and options I was not seeking. At one point, a limited corrective measure was discussed at no cost. That was later removed and replaced with paid options. From my perspective, the financial expectations shifted while the original outcome remained unresolved. I understand that surgery involves variables and no outcome is guaranteed. However, I underwent multiple procedures, paid additional costs for corrective care, and still did not receive the result originally promised. The most concerning part has been the difficulty in obtaining timely and consistent responses when trying to resolve this. Given this experience, I would strongly advise prospective patients to ask very specific questions about how complications, revisions, and costs are handled if the initial result is not achieved. At this point, I am seeking resolution in the form of a refund so I may pursue corrective care elsewhere.
