Excellent experience - so glad I went with this office

Dr McGee is the best! Very knowledgeable and helps you understand the process. I am so glad I went with this office the staff is great! I received PRP with filler injections due to loss in volume from weight loss. If you’re on the fence, just do it! Don’t forget to say hello to Optimus. :)

5 Star Recommendation for Dr. T

My experience with Dr. Taghizadeh and his entire team were all encompassing from the minute I walked in the front door of Arizona Facial Plastic Surgery Center. I did not expect the state-of-the-art technology, first class skin care products, comprehensive pre-op care and post-op follow-up visits surrounding my surgery. Normally, I am not a person who heals quickly from any kind of surgical...

I Had a Very Comfortable and Lovely Experience

My experience with Dr Taghizadeh was just wonderful! I was given all the information i needed to know about the surgery. All i remember is being put to sleep then waking up a few hours later and honestly the pain is very bearable and tolerable. The only trouble i had was breathing but that’s something that we just have to go through in order to get the results we want. Everything went super w...

Comprehensive procedure, but worth it at the end

I have trust and confidence in Doctor Taghizadeh and every member of his team. I am very pleased with the results, and delighted that I had the procedure. The surgery and recovery were more challenging that I anticipated. I am 73 years old and feel that I look 10 years younger because of the good work done at Arizona Facial Plastics.

Q: Thread lift, filler, and Botox; does the order of procedure matter or is there a difference in results?
Answered by Dr. TaghizadehJanuary 25, 2022

A: Hi! These are great questions. In my experience, it is easier to do a thread lift when certain facial muscles are relaxed. We usually administer Botox 7 days before a brow thread lift so that the brow can lift easily. The thread lift is addressing loose skin, and the fillers help with volume loss. I would usually recommend the thread lift first, and then the fillers to add volume after the tightening has been achieved. Lasers haven't been shown to dissolve threads--lasers are attracted to certain colors, so it would likely depend on whether the threads were susceptible to the wavelength of the specific laser. Thanks, Dr. T

Q: Can a thread lift improve under eye wrinkles.
Answered by Dr. TaghizadehJanuary 4, 2022

A: A thread lift is unlikely to help as under-eye skin is very thin, and there isn't much to anchor the threads. One of the better non-surgical solutions is filler and CO2 laser skin tightening. I hope this helps!

Q: Does Opus Plasma work on dark skin types?
Answered by Dr. TaghizadehMay 25, 2021

A: Hi, and thanks for your question. Yes, the Opus is great for all skin types. With a Fitz V it would be a good idea to pretreat for a week or so with a prep pad--we use a kojic acid brightening pad to lower the chances of PIH. However, because the Opus delivers less retained heat than a fractional CO2, it tends to be a safer choice for the higher fitzpatrick skin colors. I hope you find this helpful. Please reach out if you have additional questions.

Q: What does a session of Opus Plasma cost?
Answered by Dr. TaghizadehMay 25, 2021

A: Hi! The average cost for an Opus Treatment will depend on the area you live in. However, because it provides such dramatic skin tightening, expect to pay about $3500 for a package of three treatments, and about $1500- $2000 for a single treatment. The number of treatments you need will depend on your skin condition and your age, as well as the type of results you are seeking. Please reach out if you have additional questions! I'm happy to help.

Q: What is the downtime for Opus Plasma?
Answered by Dr. TaghizadehMay 25, 2021

A: Hi! The downtime varies depending on treatment depth. Most people will feel like they need to wait about 72 hours before they can go back to their normal routine. Your face will likely peel and feel itchy on the third day, so make sure to moisturize. You will look like you have a sunburn on the third day, so you can go out but won't look 100% normal. Don't apply make up until day 5. This will give you time to heal. Do use a moisturizer every day--a Hyaluronic Acid serum is a great way to keep your skin supple while it heals.
