I was so afraid to do this! I've always wanted to especially after my 2nd child. This was the best decision I made! Dr. Balgobin did his thing with this body! I'm so serious. I look great! His staff were extremely professional and so welcoming, my consultation and everything went smoothly. He's so wonderful and kind. I had no issues whatsoever besides the pain after surgery. He was completely honest about the procedure that I really needed which was a tummy tuck but decided on lipo 360, jplasma skin tightening and bbl. Im 6 weeks post op now and still can't believe the skin on my stomach retracted the way it did. I'm still healing as far as scaring but WOW! THANK YOU SO MUCH DR. B!!

The Arijai team is amazing! Dr. B is so gifted and knows exactly what each patient needs for the best result...TRUST him! The recovery house is a MUST! Tamika is fabulous and takes such good care of all the girls and her food is AMAZING! Updated on 20 Jul 2019: My experience through the whole process was incredible! Dr. B is such a down to earth guy with a smile that lights up the room and he gave me exactly what I wanted. I just told him, “Do your thing” because he’s so gifted! When he was marking me prior to surgery I was so excited it felt like Christmas morning! He definitely worked his magic! Tamika is the Recovery house nurse and is the most caring person I’ve ever met. She’s the house momma and takes care of her girls 24/7. She has a heart of gold! I just love her! Cindy is the best lip injector I’ve ever had! and is super sweet! I just got home (I flew for surgery) last night and I already miss everyone! Prior to surgery, I’ve worked out so hard in the gym and have had great nutrition for over 15 years and just could never see the result until now. My body was extremely healthy, I just had my stubborn fat from having 2 babies that wouldn’t go away with exercise and my results were all covered up! This is a life changing journey for me. I already tried on my post surgery “goal” clothes and they all fit me like a glove. This has lifted my spirits so high. I’m so happy my heart is dancing! I will be forever grateful for the Arijai team. I knew for the last 3 years that Dr. B was the Dr. for me and never even looked into any other options...I just had no idea that each person placed in my life during surgery week would be so special to me. To stay at the recovery house was the greatest decision ever! I honestly felt like I was on a girls trip! I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much in my life! My roommate and I instantly became friends and she and Tamika will now be my friends for life! Chris, who is the mastermind behind the whole business is such an awesome guy and has created an awesome team! This medical office is doing amazing things and changing lives around the globe!

First off I have never written a review before... but after my unforgettable experience at Arijai Aesthetic and wellness with Dr Christopher Balgobin I had to come on here and let everyone know how amazing this man really is ... after going to Miami and having a prior Bbl with another doctor I was sadly disappointed and discouraged not happy with my results right away I started doing my research and came across Dr.B ... I loved his work on IG so I decided to take the chance and fly down to Minneapolis to have round 2 lipo 360 with BBL hands down the best decision I have ever made. He literally made me into a Barbie everything that I wanted from the first surgery and more higher than I could ever expected. He snatched my waist so much my friends thought I had my ribs removed ???? And gave me the apple booty I always dreamed of . I have never met anyone like Dr.B he is the nicest most humble man that makes you feel comfortable every step of the way. There are not enough words to express my gratitude and how grateful I am. He actually cares about his patients and makes you feel important doesn't treat you like your just another number which I have had before from previous doctors . Hello Ladies, I’ve stalked this site for over a year and have finally decided to have the BBL procedure. I’ve researched the doctors in Jacksonville, FL where I live and also in Miami. They all have some great reviews but I couldn’t find a doctor as consistent with their work as, Dr. Christopher Balgobin of Arijai Aesthetic aka Dr. BBL. His attention to detail and organic talent is what attracted me to him. Although, I would rather stay local and recover at home, I only want to have this procedure once. My surgery date is April 20, 2017. I’m flying into Minnesota the day before and will be staying at the recovery house. I'm 5'10" and 198 lbs. I will post pics soon. It's a blessing to be here and I'm so grateful for God's grace, mercy and unconditional love. So guys, it's hitting home that this is really about to happen. I'm excited, slightly nervous and ready for my Mini-Mommy Makeover. Like most of you, I've always put myself last. I'm always there for everyone else but me. It's time to do something for me and take time for myself. I plan to stay in MN for 10 days but I'm not sure if it will last. I haven't been away from my hubby and kids since retiring from the Navy in 2014. I'm sure I'll be ok. I'm such a procrastinator, I haven't purchased my supplies but I have my clothing all ready to go. I plan to check one medium size suitcase and carry on a backpack. Updated on 25 Apr 2017: Hi Ladies, hope you all are doing well. I'm currently on day 5 post-op. I have minimal pain, swelling and some discomfort. The worst day for me was Day 2 po. I had my first lymphatic massage on yesterday and it was amazing. Dr. Chris Balgobin (Dr. BBL) and his staff are the best example of what any medical clinic should be or strive to be. From day one they have answered and addressed all of my concerns and questions. After speaking with Dr. Balgobin over the phone, I knew I wouldn't risk spending my hard earned money on an fair doctor. He was so sincere, explained his findings and recommendations but left the decision up to me. After arriving at the clinic the day of my surgery, I felt like family. Dani, his surgical nurse was welcoming, compassionate, caring, and attentive. I felt like family. They made me feel like we had known each other for years. The medical care I received was far above my expectations and made it so easy to relax and trust their skills. The anesthetist was great and explained everything to me. She was funny and down to earth. Kristin, one of his nurses did my lymphatic massage and she works wonders. She is very personable, caring, and has amazing hands. Wish I was able to stay longer to get another massage. Dr. Balgobin's bedside manner was so attentive, he explained each step and asked for my wishes. I can't say enough about this clinic or their hard work. I have never in my adult years experienced the level of care I received from the amazing staff at Arijai Aesthetic. If and only if I had to have a procedure done again, I would only go to Dr. Balgobin and his staff. My results are phenomenal, even with the swelling, I can see definition in my stomach and my butt is full and beautiful. I'm so happy I trusted my gut and went with Dr. Balgobin vice saving a few dollars and not being confident in the local doctors work. I will post about the recovery house later. Hi ladies. I've must say, I am amongst the thousands of ladies who have grown addicted to RealSelf reading reviews, opinions, suggestions, looking at pre/post op photos and recovery experiences. BBL has peeked my interest for about 5 years. I would google and read tons of feedback on different surgeons, their techniques and any troublesome issues that arose along the way. I finally decided (within the last 4 months) to go ahead and get the ball rolling. Currently I'm researching doctors to try and narrow down my selection. I was able to dwindle down to three doctors: Dr. Hasan who seems to be the surgeon of interest when it comes to BBL's, Dr Omupelu who's experience and credentials are impressive and Dr. Miami who's reputation, company, and demands on service has exploded within the last two years. I've had a consultation with all three so I at least have that much accomplished. Lol. Now time to make a decision and work on securing a date and financing. Updated on 11 Nov 2015: Okay ladies, I've decided to go with Dr. Omupelu. I choose him because of his experience, his work on previous patients and the interaction with Spectrum. I am taking advantage of the cash special so my total price is 4,000 for the BBL and my deposit is only 300.00. My tentative date is January 11. I'm ready to get the toughest part out of the way. I still can't believe I'm actually seeing this thru. If you guys can only see my face. Once I lock in my sx date I will choose a recovery house (which I'm still researching on) and start ordering my supplies. I'm 2 months away. Oh yea. I am still undecided. What all would or should be included in these packages (so i can know what to look for)? I paid my deposit, locked in my date of 1/11/2016 with Dr. Omupelu. Miami here i come :-). I also decided to go with Elite Nursing Recovery House. i spoke with Mary and she was very informative and she gave me a sense of security and relaxation. I'm confident i will be i good hands. With only two months left before my sx date, i have to get on it. Now time to get my supplies together. Did any of you girls purchase a additional garment before you arrived for surgery. Updated on 22 Feb 2016: Hi ladies, even though I have everything (sx date, flight, recovery house) scheduled and lined up for Dr. Omulepu, after reading so many review and doing some actual research on the current issue regarding his license I don’t feel comfortable allowing him to perform sx on me. I’m thinking about changing to Dr. BBL (Balgobin). He is board certified, his staff is amazing, the follow-up is immaculate and he does his own consultations and call backs not a consultant or coordinator. I love the personal interaction and his actual feedback via our phone convo for my consultation. His cost is more than Dr. Osak but the peace of mind is worth is. I’m close to 5 weeks away from my sx date and it will be a hassle to cancel and rebook things with a different doctor but I think my comfort with Dr. BBL and peace of mind supersede the low price and convenience of Dr. O. Have any of you ladies heard anything about Dr. Balgobin in Minnesota? If so, do you know of any recovery houses in that area? Updated on 5 Mar 2016: Hey ladies, I followed my gut and changed to Dr. BBL (follow him on Instagram). He's located in Minnesota and his price is more than double that of Dr. Omeouplu but my sense of security is worth it. It was a headache making last minute flight changes and hotel cancellations and reservations. Dr. BBL contracts with Mary at Elite Nursing because there as no Recovery home in MN like there is in FL. I decided to book a hotel and fly my mom with me to help me after my procedure. His practice is Arijai Aesthetics and Wellness. Updated on 21 Mar 2016: Crunch time. Time to pack and do a quick run thru on my supplies. I didn't by a BBL pillow because DR. Balgobin supplies that along with the faja, arnica, scar gel, and post recovery absorbent pads. I am thinking about buying a Bobby pillow. I will see. Updated on 21 Mar 2016: Instead of buying a shower liner to cover the bed (from leakage while laying) I will use a waterproof mattress protector (I read in someone else's blog). I already had this sitting in the closet so it was perfect. It is more expensive then a shower liner (a liner u can grab for less than 5.00 at Wally World or for 1.00 at the Dollar Tree). I think I'm going to bring a set of my own sheets so I won't mess the sheets up that's in the hotel. Updated on 25 Mar 2016: Today is less intense than day 1. Speaking of pain, i never felt so much pain and soreness in my little body in my life. I thought I was close to death door. I cant believe i actually went thru with the surgery. I am complete happy with my projections. I haven't seen my silhouette yet. My first appt is Friday and I also have my first lymph massage scheduled on that day too. I had a little drainage but not much. My experience in the office was amazing. Dr. B met me at the front desk, introduced hisself and looked thru my file to make sure my consent forms were signed. Afterwards the nurse walked me back to the room. There they had my recovery bag with a cute purple flower and my name sitting on the bed. Awww. The nurse handed me a gown and a pair of disposable panties to change into. Next the anesthesiologist came in and started my IV. About 5 mins later, in comes Dr. B with his charm and bright smile. He is so down to earth and easy to talk to. His focus was on me. He took before photos, asked for my wish pics, asked in detail what I want and don't want. Next he started marking everywhere then we moved to the operating room. Updated on 25 Mar 2016: 5 hours later the nurse is waking me up and feeding me Gatorade and crackers. It felt like l blinked and it was all over. Of course the snow was falling pretty thick so I'm glad I brought my rider boots. I laid across the back seat and we headed to the RX to grab my prescriptions. My preparation came in handy. Before I left the hotel I put my mattress protector on and lined the center of the bed with chux pads. My mom was a hug help. The attention to detail and the care she's providing is far beyond what a a stranger would give you. I'm really glad I decided to bring her along to help. Because we knew the snow was coming, we picked up snacks, soup and crackers before the snow storm to be prepared for the days afterward. Updated on 25 Mar 2016:

My girlfriend went to Dr. BBL just for lipo, and suggested a consult ! I went in and was immediately ready to book! First impressions are everything! I had buttock implant placed before my first kid was born because I didn't have enough fat. It wasn't as big as I wanted and really not much of a difference. 2 kids later I definitely have enough fat to get the body I desire! Omg... the staff at Dr. BBL in Burnsville are all top notch ! I've been waiting to do this for a while now and was very nervous . Right when I walked in the door I was put at ease. All of them made my experience amazing. Dr.BBL is amazing and I'm so eager to see my results once I'm healed . I'm already sooo happy!
