I recently received my first Thermage treatment with Ginny at Dr. Honeycutt's office. This treatment is game changer ladies! Let's face it, any time we are talking about this area in particular, it can be embarrassing. I am here to assure you, it was anything but that! I was comfortable with Ginny right off the bat! Ginny has a relaxing demeanor about her and with knowing that she used to be a nurse for an OBGYN, that put me even more at ease. The treatment was absolutely painless and actually felt like a massage. I noticed results immediately in the appearance of my vagina and with some incontinence I had been experiencing. Let's face it ladies, we age down there too! We take care of our appearances as we age, so why not our vaginas? My husband, not knowing exactly what the treatment was supposed to do, noticed and commented on the appearance that very evening! I am so glad that Dr. Honeycutt have implemented a noninvasive treatment for woman in her office. This was quick and effortless with immediate results and absolutely no restrictions! I look forward to my next treatment with Ginny!
After many years as an athlete in school and avid exerciser with big heavy burdensome breasts, I am getting my Reduction. Hopefully, the neck and back pain will be gone when it's over! I had my consultation in March, insurance approved and surgery scheduled for May 23rd. Dr. D'Arcy Honeycutt comes highly recommended in my area and she impressed me at my consult. The staff at Advanced Surgical Arts Center have been great in guiding me to my surgery day. Updated on 15 May 2019: There is a lot of preparation that goes into getting ready physically and medically for this, but once again, I am impressed with the careful considerations of Dr. Honeycutt’s team. May have a little set back as I was bitten by an animal 25 days ago and still fighting an infection from the bite. I am on the mend, but kind of sad as I may have to re-schedule and postpone this procedure. But whatever keeps me healthy is best. I am a little shy to post pics but I know it really helped me that others did this, so I am working up the courage! This website has been great for me. Thank to all who take the time! Updated on 23 May 2019: I have went through so much just prior to my procedure healing from an infectious cat bite. My medical team worked closely with my PS team and I am relieved to say I was able to proceed and had my reduction surgery on May 23. I should be sleeping right now and will post pics later. Thanks to this website and the amazing ladies who shared their journey to help me through mine! Updated on 24 May 2019: In my youth very young I was large breasted. I played sports and enjoyed all sorts of outdoor activities. I loved fitness! As I grew older, managing neck and back pain became more difficult and I stopped doing a lot of things I loved. I want to be more active again and this was my motivation. Updated on 25 May 2019: I have felt pretty good today. Napping off and on slept some in my bed last night and not in a recliner. Made some chicken & dumpling soup getting ready to rest one more now. No pain pill yet today just IB. I I’ll try to post my before pics here. 38 DDD on right and E on left. Hoping for a large B small C. I am 5’3 160 small framed. My bandages come off tomorrow evening will try to post first post op pics tomorrow evening. Updated on 26 May 2019: My 3 day post op instructions say to take off surgical bandaging and shower! I am nervous about seeing them for the first time. My daughter helped me out an all went well. I took a couple pics and lefty is more traumatic to look at. I am super pleased! My left nipple was too sensitive to use the bra I bought so my daughter went to find something more comfortable. I am going to love my boobies when they are healed! Updated on 30 May 2019: Well, all in all not too bad. I am sort of disappointed feel like I'm going backwards in my healing. My left breast is having some difficulty the nurse thinks I had a small blood blister underneath and it ruptured leaving some raw broken skin. So, now Bacitracin on the wound and cover with a nursing pad for now and she took photos of the wound. Right side is really good. I did return to work today and did a little too much; however when I picked ''this day to go back to work I did not expect to have to drive 2 hours to my post op appt and back home :( One more week and I will start applying biocorneum to all closed areas of the incisions. My incisions really itch so can't wait for that. I am exhausted and have not taken a pain pill for the past three days. Not passing on that valuable pill tonight!! Thanks for all the support. Every lady on this site is my hero. I'll check back in about a week. Also, those wield lines wee drawn on me by the nurse as a gauge. Updated on 7 Jun 2019: So I am doctoring my left breast daily. For the past week I have been instructed to alternate an antibiotic ointment and Silver Sulfadiazine on the the dark area of the underside of my breast and then I cover that area. I will continue to use this treatment and have a follow up with my PS on next Wednesday. I am really not worried I know I will eventually heal, I just hope it doesn't take forever to heal and more importantly that I don't get an infection. Also I am now applying scar treatment to the rest of my incisions. I will post today's picture my next post will be after my one month follow up on the 24th. Updated on 26 Jun 2019: Still happy I had this procedure! Updated on 26 Jun 2019: Still happy I had this procedure. Yes, the left breast looks traumatic, yes I will have to doctor this wound for three months and yes I will have a doozy of a scar. All in all, I am very satisfied with my BR results. I felt compelled to share that Dr. Honeycutt is very sorry this happened and will see me through this. I feel like she accepts some responsibility for the outcome, but I was very much aware of the fact there are no guarantees in how the breasts will heal and what complications may arise. I haven't shared with my PS yet my thoughts, but I will at my follow up in August. If you read all my posts you know I suffered a really bad infection from a cat bite a little over a month prior to my surgery. I kept my PS up to date on all my treatment and facts regarding the cat bite and when it came time for my surgery the infection had cleared and we went ahead with surgery. What I did not share with my PS is how I felt that the cat bite infection really took a toll on me and that I had considered postponing my BR procedure. She did say at one point it was no problem to postpone, but I think I anted so bad and felt like I had already "waited" so long for this I thought I would be fine. I don't know if the prior infection had anything to do with it or not, my point is trust your gut and don't be afraid to speak up and share ANY AND ALL concerns with your surgeon. Dr. Honeycutt is a true professional and I share this for all those brave women considering this procedure to know a good surgeon will always make things right, we are all human and hind sight is 20 / 20. My next post will be in October and I hope to share pictures of my complete healing and recovery. All the best and God is good! Updated on 28 Aug 2019: Final post! As you can see, I am healed up and got through it without any further complications and all ahead of the expected schedule. Now I will continue scar treatment for the as long as needed. I will have a final follow up appointment at the anniversary of my BR in May 2020. I will leave you with my final post and photos. I hope this helps someone, God Bless.
I had coolsculpting with Christal at Dr. Honeycutt's and it was such a great experience. I hated my bra fat by my armpits and have tried everything to get rid of it. Nothing worked. I had 1 treatment of coolsculpting to my bra fat and it made such a great difference! It was such a simple procedure and Christal was a joy to be around. She made me so comfortable and was great about explaining everything so thoroughly. Definitely recommend coolsculpting!!! This reviewer received a gift card from RealSelf in exchange for their review.
